Waterside al fresco dining and drinks. This place was featured in an episode of the Bachelorette this spring. Small plates, but good quality food, specializing in local oysters, crab and fish.

If you feel like a day trip, this is my favorite place to go on a drive for oysters and champagne overlooking the water

GREAT food and atmosphere, you'll probably see them bringing in the oysters and you'll be able to learn about oyster farming. Not the typical touristy seafood restaurant where the seafood isn't good. This seafood is great so it's worth the 40 min drive. Stop in Kilmarnock first for shopping eating or vinyarding at the Good Luck Vineyards, then Irvington for all that town has to offer then hit Merroir.
