The Greek Orthodox Monastery is a cool thing to see...guest must cover their skin....but don't worry, if you show up in shorts and a tank top, the Monastery will provide you appropriate clothing.

The perfect place to take your time and walk the lovely, manicured grounds. Admission is free. Upon arrival ladies will be provided a long skirt and shawl to cover with. Probably not suitable or very enjoyable for young kids.

So beautiful a tranquil and inspirational place to walk through. You will be amazed at the flora and the beautiful architecture , chapels of the Eastern Orthodox faith. 250 million orthodox in the world and the beauty of the original church is present. Gift shop. Books don’t miss the homemade olive oil from the orchards on site. Truly a place to remember. It is important to plan ahead just a little bit - like many holy places, your attire is your key to admission. One also must comply with dress codes (cover all skin, women cannot wear pants (must cover with a provided skirt), heads covered (men - hats, women - scarfs). It is a simple step to show respect.
