Located within a 5 minute walk, this theme park is a great day out for families.

This is Derbyshire's answer to a mini Alton Towers and for children aged between 5 and 12 I'd say it's a really great day out and well worth the steep hilly inclines once there. This is a terraced theme park with several fast paced thrill rides along with your Pirate Ship, Log Flume and a new Riggers Revenge zip line ride that is way ahead of its time for a small Derbyshire amusement park! Be sure to check out Wowcher or other Voucher schemes as Gullivers very often put family discounts and other offers on at various times throughout the year. Please note that some of the rides are subject to height restrictions. Take a picnic unless you don't mind basic and at best substandard deep fried foods i.e. fries, nuggets etc.

Near to The Heights of Abraham in Matlock is Gulliver’s Kingdom, another popular theme park perhaps more suitable for your younger children (compared with Alton Towers).
