Another Wild Mountain Lake.... this one has more sandy bottom for younger kids. It's farther than Blue Mountain Lake and smaller but gorgeous; it's worth it. Can be busy on weekends, so plan during the week or off hours.

Crater Lake is glacial lake left behind after the Wisconsin Glacier retreated from this area about twenty-two thousand years ago.
