The spectacular Nymph Falls are one of the most scenic views in the Valley and a mere 0.5 km from the parking lot. Apart from a picnic and cooling off in one of the pools in the Puntledge river, there are many wide gentle foot paths through 150 acres of forest. The rapids are highest from fall through spring with summer seeing calmer waters to swim in. The fish return in October and November to leap their way up the falls. A close 22 km from the Comox Carriage house, makes an enjoyable easy hike along the river and through the woods.
