Great for swimming, dive center, snorkeling, and seeing the turtles. Use eco friendly sun screen, and ignore snorkeling tour guides - beaches are public and you can swim without a tour. You can rent gear or lifejackets if you prefer to at Akumal Dive Center here. Beach Chairs too.
