A beautiful beach which has everything for a relaxing day at there beach. You can hire paddle boards and kayaks. There is a beach shop serving ice cream, snacks and drinks, as well as souvenirs. Sam's on the beach and the Rashleigh Inn are both great places to eat. Watching the sunset here across St Austell bay is highly recommended!

Explore the idyllic Polkerris beach in Cornwall, a fantastic sandy cove, that’s perfect to splash about in the water. This little sandy cove is sheltered from the wind by a stone wall, so it’s a perfect place for the little ones to go for a little swim. On the shore, there’s plenty of sand for you to lounge about on, or bring the bucket and spade and build some epic sandcastles! Sandy cove beach Great for swimming

Why not book a table at Sam’s on the beach or walk the coastal path to Gribben Head and Menabilly

Polkerris beach is an idyllic sheltered sandy Cornish cove. It offers a variety of landscapes, superb views, coastal walks and historical features. Well know for its links with the author Daphne Du Maurier and the setting of many of her novels. There is a great pub called The Rashleigh Arms which is the perfect spot to watch the sun go down and the restaurant "Sams on the Beach" in a converted lifeboat station, now serving wood fired pizzas and exceptional seafood.
