The cottage was absolutely lovely, cosy and welcoming, everything you needed, home from home. I wanted to get away from it all and this property certainly provided me with a great location to explore the coast, lovely walks with my dog and was so quiet, it was heaven. If you want to hear real stillness and nature at its best, this is the place for you. The Bed was really comfy with good showering facilities, couldn’t fault it. Simon and Jo very helpful and friendly, introduced themselves to me. I will be back soon. I was just wondering if What three words would help re location as I did struggle with locating the property. Thank you for a great stay

Beautiful apartment, fantastic location easily walkable into Yarm. Easy to access, and lovely and spacious with 2 bed, 2 bath and big kitchen lounge for us. Thanks!

We had a lovely time. It was like a home from home. Emma couldn't do enough for us. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of enticing cafes and restaurants in Bishop Auckland.

thank you Jen and Brian for such a magical stay! we couldn't have asked for more! everything was magnificent, the extra touches to mark Stephen's birthday was touching and memorable, I was also surprised with a bottle of Prosecco, went to view bridal dresses but never found one I liked and brian and Jen were so sweet and still gave it to me lol thank you both! we recommend this place highly, the pictures don't do it justice, you need to experience it yourself. we loved the cosy corner, playing darts, sitting by the fire, chilling on the beach chairs ( i must have these now for our garden lol) and the hot tub is the best we have ever been in. the garden is just stunning and comes alive at night! the bed was super comfy too, got such good sleep. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go again! thanks again to our attentive and wonderful hosts!

Lovely modern apartment with good facilities. Comfy beds and nice to have 2 bathrooms. We found the walk into town a bit too much so used taxis which were very reasonably priced. Ate at Little Sicily one night, following a review seen on Airbnb. Good food, very reasonable. Ate at Uno Momento in town also, which we highly recommend. Thank you for the wine that greeted us upon arrival!

A great place. We had the mother in law with us so the downstairs bedroom and shower room were brilliant for her. Easily accessible with a lovely host. We will stay again when up visiting next time! Thank you Cate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cottage was spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped, warm and welcoming. Set amongst beautiful fields, with sheep and lambs to entertain us! A very thoughtful welcome package made a great first impression. From booking the cottage, through to leaving, Jane's communication was excellent. The Old Oak Tree pub in the village was really nice and walking distance from the cottage. Beautiful Thirsk is only five minutes down the road. We will definitely be staying again and can not recommend the cottage, as well as Jane, highly enough!

Peaceful quiet location. Near train station. Clean . Generally well equipped, although a few bits of cutlery and crockery missing but nothing major. Comfortable beds, pillows not to my personal preference as very hard, but overall an excellent stay and I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend.

Great place, great host! We got great value for money! The place was beautiful and we felt right at home whilst working in the area! TVs in every room were very helpful! We will be staying again! Thank you!

This was our second time staying at Donna’s and it won’t be our last. Donna’s place is immaculate and so homely and Donna goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome including making contact and checking in which is very much appreciated. This place is a safe haven with so many lovely places nearby to explore. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed and linen is so so comfy! Cannot recommend enough. Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

We stayed here the 19th April until the 20th of April 2025, louise was very responsive to the text i sent them. with easy instructions on how to get into the property plus the snug. walking distance to lots of amenities, pubs restaurants, fast food takeaway.. We used Guisborough for a flying visit to Middlesbrough, and we would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks again for a great stay and if your not booked up in the future, future stays in your property. Thanks again Lisa.

a fabulous apartment with a great host, in an really good location with a fresh selection of restaurants withun 10 min walk as well as supermarkets and other shops. Well equipped kitchen, and good coffee. loved the balcony with a view over the marina. This was my third stay so that should tell you how awesome I think it is.

Visited Bishop Auckland for the weekend to see some old friends and stayed at Gary’s Apartment. The flat was lovely and felt very homely. Close to the main street where the majority of the pubs and restaurants are so everything was in perfect walking distance. I would definitely stay again. Gary’s hosting skills were brilliant and he was very helpful to any questions i had. 10/10!

Great last minute stay for what my partner and I wanted. Very friendly host and nice touches in the accomodation. It was our fault we didn't realise there was no oven- but we where surrounded by places to eat and shops so it was no issue. Couldn't fault the stay and was great value for money.

Det var en mysig lägenhet med fantastisk utsikt över centrala Darlington. Det var kallt när vi anlände men det löste sig när vi kommunicerade med värden om hur man höjde temperaturen. Dock hade det en tendens att kännas lite kallt. Den extra bäddsoffan skulle kunnat förbättrats med en bäddmadrass och täcket där var för tunt när vi hade kallt i lägenheten. Sängen var mycket bekväm och täcket där var supertjockt. Vi tycker att läget är mycket bra och trivdes gott!

Great flat and location! The local area was lovely, nice walks, pub opposite and shop next door. The flat was an ideal location for exploring neighbouring towns and walking areas. The flat was exactly as described on the listing and Chris’ communication throughout the stay was great
