Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. A pretty detached historic 3 bedroom flint cottage up a private drive with a wood burner, delightful private garden, terrace, summer house and deck area overlooking a pond full of wildlife. Set in an AONB it is walking distance to the charming village of Thorncombe with a great community run shop and playground. There are lots of walks from the doorstep, plenty of wildlife and no light pollution, so amazing night skies, with the Jurassic coast and plenty of historic houses close by to explore.

Lounge on the balcony floating over your own private wildflower meadow. Have dinner watching the sun sink behind the valley. Sit round the woodburner for cosy evenings in, or round the fire pit outside wrapped in blankets. Discover country pubs with beer out of the barrel. Take walks from the front door or along the South West Coast Path.

Designed for year round use with lovely outside spaces for summer and a cosy interior and wood-burning stove for colder months. Totally self-contained, secluded, and away from the coastal crowds, but just 10 mins Bridport & beach. Attention to every detail to give you everything you want, but nothing you don't need.

Little Knapp, Beautiful Studio Cottage West Dorset

A detached (dog friendly) studio cottage located in the beautiful West Dorset village of Thorncombe, about 9 miles from the seaside resort of Lyme Regis. It is decorated & furnished to an exceptional standard with many of those 'little extra's which make is stand out from crowd such as a Gusto coffee machine, dishwasher and DAB radio along with a welcome pack of those essentials which are needed when you first arrive. Little Knapp has cosy underfloor heating and a luxurious shower room.

Nestled into our working farm, this lovingly restored railway carriage is the perfect spot for a romantic stay away. The views are out of this world and all viewable from the large glass doors so you can stay tucked up in bed or on the sofa in front of the fire, with great wifi, free access to our beautiful heated pool and sauna in the pool house, beautiful walks both from the carriage or a short drive to the coast path, pub lunches, sunsets, fairy lights and romantic outdoor bath.

This period cottage all on the ground floor, is at Laverstock Farm in the heart of the countryside. You’ll love it because of the cosiness, the views and the space. My place is good for couples and small families (with kids) and dogs. It has a king size bed and single bed in a large room so is also great for those looking for a twin room. The SHED at Dorset Farm

the SHED is really anything but a shed. Built on the site of a former stables, the shed is a bespoke design and build, constructed in 2020 /2021. Built next to a nature pond and coppice within an AONB, living in the shed connects you to the beauty of the natural world. The shed is all about serenity, luxury craftsmanship and escapism. Outside there is a private terrace with Pizza oven, BBQ and outdoor dining and living area.
