Take a short ungroomed trail to the classic ski trails, or walk down the road to the Mill Road TrailHead to access premier skate skiing trails. We have a ski waxing station in the garage, including a table, vise, waxing iron, scrapers and brush) so you can wax your skis. Just bring your preferred wax. Lastly, three sets of Tubbs snowshoes come with the home. Enjoy winter right from your backyard in a home away from home.

The cabins are off the grid, you may not have cell service! There are lanterns for light and woodstoves for heat. Ski or hike out the door. In winter, the road is only plowed to the cabins, so it's like you're at the end of the earth. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is it! The cabin is only 6 miles from town and restaurants and shops.
