West Kirby on, the Dee Estuary, provides great views over to N Wales, varied wind/water sports, wonderful beach walks with many pubs, bars, restaurants and cafés. Close to Liverpool and Chester.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Melsmere Lodge is a 2 bedroomed thatched cottage on the side of a private 1.5 acre lake and is surrounded by woodland and open countryside. The lake and woodland attract hundreds of species of birds and mammals. The lake itself is stocked with coarse fish. A little oasis of nature with easy links to local cities. Explore the wider Wirral area on the network of public footpaths or take a short train ride to the cities of Liverpool or Chester.

Our 3 bedroomed house is situated in a semi rural situation, in the historical village of Irby. Here you will find 2 pubs, 2 restaurants, shops and amenities. We are close to a number of beaches including Thurstaston and West Kirby, and are within 300 metres of Thurstaston common which provides wonderful walks through the ancient woods of Roydon Park. There are a number of golf courses on our doorstep, including Caldy, Royal Liverpool and Wallasey.

Ground floor fully self contained, spacious two bedroom flat. Located on the prestigious West Kirby parade directly overlooking the Marine Lake with beautiful views across to Hilbre Island and the Welsh Hills. A 5 minute walk to cafes, winebars and restaurants. Other local amenities include watersports tuition, leisure centre with swimming pool, 2 golf course, railway station with trains to Chester and Liverpool.

A peaceful retreat in a stunning setting

The views from the apartment are amazing. You are next to the sailing club and near several golf courses . Within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. The walks in the area are many and you have direct access to the beach from the garden. Don’t leave your dog at home. I love well-behaved dogs and they will love the beach. The apartment is very quiet being well away from the main road.
