There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to have a decent shower while you are on vacation. That was absolutely not the case here. The hot water and water pressure in both bathrooms was exceptional. This is a great place in a great area. We will definitely try to get back here.

The place was amazing. I absolutely plan on bringing my family again, hopefully this year. The host was excellent. He was there when we arrived, gave us a quick tour and some easy instructions on how to use items. We loved the lake, and the house came with everything we needed to enjoy our time

My wife and I were looking for a nice quiet and peaceful spot near Mohegan, and this was by and far the best space to be in for a short holiday. Very relaxing and full of light. Loved!

We had such a nice time at Tracey and Patrick's. The house was perfect for our family and two little dogs. There was plenty of space for everyone, and anything we could've possibly needed was there and easy to find. The location was perfect in a nice quiet neighborhood that was just a short distance drive from anything you might want to do during your vacation. What a wonderful . We all agreed we would definitely like to visit again and would certainly stay at Tracey and Patrick's if available. Thank you so much for all the great memories! Jen & Co.

A peaceful location with chill activities for all ages...we enjoyed the phonograph, the retro Atari, the hot tub, the window bird feeder, and watching birds in the spacious yard and conservation area. Herons, hawks, and songbirds viewed. The hot tub was sparkling clean, and the linen robes were a thoughtful touch. Wifi worked great. We arrived late but instructions for entry were crystal clear. Virginia answered my questions promptly and warmly. Definitely a winner.

My husband and I stayed with our 19-month-old son for three nights and it was a perfect choice! Susan had a toys and books that he loved, as well as a sandbox and pool outside - and the home was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We used the location as a jumping off point for other activities and then had quiet afternoons at the house while my husband rode his bike (we saw lots of other cyclists!). If you are vegan or vegetarian, check out the Shoreline Diner in Guilford - it was delicious.

Over all amazing experience!! Very relaxing and helps you enter a peaceful state of mind. The villa was comforting and clean. The hot tub is mostly private and no one there but when there the people in the neighborhood are lovely and give you plenty of recommendations locally. I highly recommend for a nice relaxing getaway!!

Sort of magical old house, dripping with character and quirks. Great stove and grill and a big dining room Gori Cooking and gathering. Super nice hosts. Nice walk to a nice park nearby. We really enjoyed being there. If you have a reason to be in Norwich, this is a cool place!

Was the perfect little get away for us. And it was nice to find a place that accommodated the dogs so well. We appreciated being able to get to places easily but at the same time have a peaceful place to return to.

The house is historic and charming. Very walkable to downtown mystic and other activities as described. Wendy and James were amazing hosts and very responsive and helpful. They responded on short notice late in the evening to help me set up an extra bed so that I could be on the main floor with my mother who is handicapped. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed staying at Nancy’s place, it was super comfortable and our dog loved it too! There was plenty of space to walk our dog and we really enjoyed watching the animals from the back porch!

It was very peaceful, great get away from the city. Good for the dogs. The copper tub is amazing, we could not get enough of it. And the dual showers felt so good. It felt very homey. Mr. John was a a great host.

My family and I loved staying at Gail’s place! We grew up in Madison and were back for a visit. It was such a great place and allowed us to re-live many fond memories of growing up in the area!

Cabin on Little River met our expectations and more. Myself, 2 sisters and my daughter wanted a quiet getaway. A charming open concept post and beam, pine floors and wood trim, woodstove for winter, deck with charcoal grill. It's very rural and IN the woods ( so bring bug repellant). Even though the host's home is visible you still feel tucked away. Kitchen and bath are modern and clean and the beds and livingroom were very comfortable. The soothing sound of the river is always present. It was relaxing to sit down in the adirondack chairs near its bank. The woods provide a place to walk. Lake is across the road. Glenn informed us of several events nearby that we were really interested in...but we never felt like leaving the cabin! There's a big firepit nearby and wood provided. Glenn is a wonderful host. A fellow artist, I asked to see his studio on the ground level. Even bought a couple small paintings. Do not hesitate to book this place if you are looking for a quiet respite!

Hope was hands down the most communicative and thoughtful homeowner I've ever had the pleasure of being hosted by. She had every possible concern already considered and ready to address, and she was extremely understanding of case-by-case needs unique to the current guests. I will most likely be finding time to stay at Hope's property again, as she was caring from start to end, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, safe, comfortable property to spend one-or many- nights at. Thank you again for hosting us, and I hope we have the opportunity to book through your place again!

Very nice place and location is amazing. We were grateful that our host provide some basic amenities - coffee, shampoo and condtuoner, etc. Made our visit easy and very pleasant. Thank you!

Friendly and prompt responder. Really clean. The kids more than loved the game room. And I personally loved the decor. Only objection is it’s kinda out of the way and you’d have to drive to do any activities, but other than that a really great stay.

Great spot, would definitely stay again.

This place was cozy! I loved the rainfall showerhead so much that I now want one. My favorite part was the informational binder supplied, as this was my very first time in the area. My daughter is attending Smith in the fall, and we came to check out the area. I did love the porch as well. Perfect view when it was raining and snowing.

We love the house! It’s spotless (very clean), very comfortable and super peaceful in a beautiful location! Highly recommend!

I fell in love with this apartment, the living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were excellent, very cozy and endless amenities, the only complaint I have is the ceiling of the room but it is understandable and is not a big deal and they did not tell us where to put the garbage so we had to leave it in front of the door in the garage but other than that a very good experience in this beautiful place, I recommend it!

This was our first time at the Barn. There were 8 of us. We had plenty of room. Plenty of parking. MaryBeth and Doug are extremely friendly. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the Barn. Will definitely book there again next year.

We had a very nice stay for a family wedding. Sharing the house with two combined families in January and the house was great for this. There are rooms with 3-4 beds in each so if you are looking for bedroom privacy then this house probably isn’t it. That said, we are all family so was fun to bunk up! The area is beautiful and there r a great set of trails right at the end of the road for hiking, walking cross country skiiing etc. Overall, a great stay and Kimberly was very communicative with everything

The place was terrific. Clean, cozy, exactly as described. Susan very generously left us a bottle of wine from a local shop. The apartment was spotless and comfortable. Susan's communication was terrific and the instructions were clear. If you like to cook, then you might like to hear that the knives were sharp! We had a great stay and would happily stay again the next time we're in the area.
