Car parking: In the area of the apartment are available daily payment slot (blue stripes) 2h Free parking overnight available at 3 min walking distance (Viale Matteotti along the antique wall side) Welcome to my cozy flat, located in the heart of Pistoia, perfect to explore the town and enjoy Tuscany! The apartment is based at the 3rd floor (no elevator) of an antique Tuscan building: the sealing in wood and the stone walls are all authentic! You'll find a very cosy and unique atmosphere made by the care for details and love for my home. En-joy it! The apartment has been detailed designed and renovated taking care of original stone walls from XVI sec, original marblekitchen sink, wood ceiling, parquet floor. The new balcony (with the view on the old tower) makes special every moment of the day surrounding by seasonal flowers and strawberry: enjoy at breakfast or for an aperitivo tasting a glass of Chianti wine or watching the full moon in the night. The little town of Pistoia surprises with its discreet charm enclosed in alleys and squares decorated with historical monuments and palaces, testimony of an ancient artistic past. Balanced between its history, the beauty of the landscapes and taste of "live well", Pistoia is an authentic town where you can experience the harmony of art, the richness of its territory, the frankness of the people and relax the precious life-giving water. Just outside town you'll have the opportunity to reach and admire the most beautiful tuscan amaenities: - the city of Florence (35km), Lucca (46km) e Pisa (67km) - relax and enjoy the biggest spa-town in Italy, Montecatini Terme that offers not only the well-known healing waters but also all the modern relax treatments (17km) or visit and relax in the large and fascinating millennial Grotta Giusti in Monsummano Terme with a beneficial relaxing "steam bath"(15km) - a beautiful Contemporary Art collection hosted in the mysterious Fattoria di Celle, old tuscan villa on Montale's hills (8km). - The town of Collodi with the Parco di Pinocchio famous worldwide for his given birth to the most famous puppet of all time: Pinocchio. Ammodernato con cura (e con piscina), questo spazio incarna le radici del buon vivere toscano – oliveta attrezzata composta da un pergola con tavolo e bagno, un giardino con amaca e all'ombra di pini e cipressi, con sedie, sdraio e dondolo, si può ammirare le dolci colline del Chianti. Resede attrezzato con tavolo e sedie. E' presente una bella piscina sopraelevata con alcuni giochi e barbecue Forma la proprietà, oltre la colonica, un’oliveta di circa 1 ettaro, nella quale si è ricavato spazi attrezzati adibiti ad un completo relax. La Suite ha un ingresso privato che porta direttamente al piano superiore della colonica, permettendo la massima privacy agli ospiti. La colonica è parte di un piccolo vecchio borgo abitato da 4 unità familiari molto discreti e simpatici. La superficie della suite è di 90 mq ed è composta da tinello con angolo cottura, ampio soggiorno, camera matrimoniale, bagno con doccia ed una mansarda abitabile (particolare la porticina di dimensioni 1,2 mt) con 3 letti singoli. Ambiente molto luminoso e immerso nella completa tranquillità della campagna è dotato di aria condizionata, televisione satellitare, wifi free 24 ore. I proprietari mettono a disposizione la zona lavanderia. parcheggio privato scoperto. i proprietari lieti di accogliere i loro ospiti, si mettono a disposizione per risolvere eventuali problemi. Il piccolo borgo è abitato da altre tre famiglie molto gentile e discrete, pronte ad aiutare l'ospite. Tavarnelle dista km 25 da Firenze, 15 da San Gimignano, 35 da Siena. - A breve saranno visibile le immagini dell'esterno, piscina, giardino e oliveta attrezzata. Chiediamo cortesemente di attendere. La struttura ricettiva è distante dal centro di Tavarnelle km. 5 circa. il centro storico è dotato di tutti i servizi x il cittadino ed il turista : poste, polizia, comune, pronto soccorso, supermercato, trattorie, pizzerie, banche ecc. Inoltre nel periodo estivo si susseguono vari eventi musicali piccoli mercati artigianali infine si svolge, tutti i giovedì mattina, il classico mercato comunale. Luoghi di interesse (borghi medievali) intorno a Tavarnelle : San donato in Poggio km. 12 circa. Barberino val d'elsa km. 6. Distanze dalle città d'arte : Tavarnelle - Firenze km. 25 circa Tavarnelle - san Gimignano / Monteriggioni km. 20 circa Tavarnelle - Siena km. 35 circa. Negli spazi esterni organizzati è presente una piscina tipo FUORI TERRA, le dimensioni sono : 10 mt. X 5 mt., con profondità 1,20 mt. completa lo spazio piscina un bagno con doccia. Nel resede, gli ospiti, hanno a disposizione un bel tavolo con barbecue. Tutta l'area oliveta è a loro disposizione con la massima privacy. I proprietari, a richiesta dell'ospite, possono prenotare tour escursionistici o wine - testing appoggiandosi a professionisti. Il prezzo di eventuale prenotazione del tour non è incluso nel prezzo del soggiorno. Il piccolo borgo un tempo è stato una fortezza militare, successivamente una Pieve o luogo di culto e dall'inizio del xx secolo abitato da contadini. This apartment has been newly renovated, mixing different kinds of architecture and design. In the flat there is plenty of space for your smart-workstation: internet is fast and reliable, accessible from every corner. We take particular care in sanitizing all the critical areas, in particular the space is sanitized by means of ozone generators. The apartment is newly restyled with a very special taste, mixing different styles in the architecture and design. It is a 2 floors apartment at the last floor of a mid 20th century building right outside the historical city center: at the first floor there are the bedrooms (a Suite and a second bedroom) the bathroom and a wardrobe room. The Suite is introduced by an elegant living area with a separè industry in glass and iron dividing it from the double bedroom with balcony and fireplace. The second bedroom has a big wardrobe with mirrors, a fine couch and twin beds to be disposed at one's will. Through an elegant white marble staircase we have access to the brand new rooftop kitchen and the wide terrace with a view on the hills sorrounding Florence and spots of the old buildings of the historic center. The apartment is entirely reserved to our guests, access to it is by the staircase or by elevator with private access to the floor. The rooftop terrace is only for our guests with sole access from inside the apartment by a staircase. At the same floor in a separate flat live the owners, always ready to help! The owner lives next door and is always available if needed. Chez Geraldine is an apartment just outside the historical center. It’s predominantly a residential district, but the cathedral, Galleria dell'Accademia, and Piazza San Marco are a 15-minute walk away. Food stores, restaurants, and bars are close by. AVAILABLE 4 BIKES (adult size) for our guests, included in the price. Please, use it with care and lock it well each and any time you leave them without custody, thank you. This fantastic apartment offers you the chance to immerse yourself into the heart of ancient Florence. The prime location is a perfect starting point for exploring all of the city’s most notable landmarks. The magical views from all rooms of this accommodation surround you in the beauty of Florence all day and night. There is a supermarket conveniently located 150 meters from the apartment. The Ponte Vecchio is 200 meters away and in a 5 minutes walk, you can reach the city center. The water boiler sometimes needs to be restarted. It's outside of the kitchen, there in an on/off button, you just need to turn it on and off. If all the utilities are on at the same time the light may go down, the breaker is next to the main entrance, inside the apartment. I also work for a hot air balloon company, if you are up for some adventure, you just need to ask me. The apartment is in the heart of ancient Florence—perfect for exploring the many nearby landmarks. You won't need a car, everything is at walking distance. In case you will arrive with a rented car, there is a parking next to the aparment that charges 35eur/day.
