Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

Great location in a gated area. Patio space was perfect for those cool nights. Second bedroom was on the basement level with its own couch and TV so was perfect for two couples to have their space when needed. Very clean and had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. Easy few minutes drive into town.

Ashley was a great host. The place was very accommodating four our group of 6. It is close to the town center in a very quiet and walkable neighborhood. The entertainment room was very entertaining and the hot tub was very relaxing. Highly recommend staying at this house. Great value for all that you get.

The house was plenty spacious for 7 adults, 1 baby, and 2 dogs. The large sofas were extremely comfortable and fit all of us comfortably and the beds were comfortable too. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed exploring the local area and would love to come back.

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

Belle Terre Chateau was only minutes from downtown Helen and was great for a large group; in our case, we had 7 adults and 3 children. We used this place as our base in Helen, fixing food in the kitchen or getting take out from the restaurants in Helen, which were expectedly overrun in the days between Christmas and New Year's Day. Bedrooms were as advertised; one connects oddly between the master and the front hallway. Four-person hot tub was great for morning coffee wake-up. A few other nits typical of AirBnB rentals during the holidays: - Cleaning was not complete before 3:00 PM. (Late cleaning was non-issue as we arrived after cleaning finished.) - Previous guests left garbage disposal jammed and indicated non-existent problem with Keurig coffee maker. (Kathryn arranged fix to disposal. We determined coffee maker was fine.) - The lock box on the door to the basement confused us. (We ignored it.) Would return if visiting Helen again.

We needed a place for our blended family to finally meet and have time together. One of the bedrooms had bunks which became the kids room. They loved it. They also loved the game room, playground and bathing in the heart shaped jacuzzi. The view is amazing, overlooking a pond with the mountains in the background. We had groups playing golf and tennis. It was too cold for the pool but I’m sure the kids would have been there if it was warm. There is a beautiful waterfall closer than I thought. There was plenty of room for everyone to dine and just be together. It is definitely a place we will keep in mind for future gatherings.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here, from the home itself to the outdoors surrounding it was exactly the peaceful, serene environment we were needing. The house literally had everything that we could’ve possibly needed cookware wise and even cleaning wise because although we were on vacation in a neat freak and with 2 boys the messes are sure to follow. Our host was so kind and responsive and gave us so many wonderful recommendations for things to do with our sons. We did not want to leave 💕 thank you so much for having us.

We loved our stay! The home was cozy and comfortable. The bed and linens were better than a five star hotel. It is decorated in a modern and comfortable style. We would definitely stay again the next time we are in Hiawassee.

Had a fantastic stay here for a family get-together. House was extremely beautiful. Interior design and layout were top notch. Orientation of the house also yielded phenomenal views of lake and mountains. Furthermore the house was just very very comfortable to reside in. I rate this house and the entire experience a 10 out of 10.

This house is fantastic! Lots of places to sleep guests. The basement is fully finished and allowed our family to have plenty of space and privacy. Everything you need to cook, entertain or just enjoy the spectacular views is all there. The hosts are excellent communicators and even provided special touches that we requested.

The house on the lake was great. It sits right on the point of Cedar Cliff and has an awesome double decker dock that we used to swim, watch fireworks (on the 4th of July) and tie our boat rental to for the week. Overall a great spacious home with plenty of room for all 10 of us. We will definitely plan to come back to this house and rent again. Lucille, the property management host, was extremely responsive and proactive about check-in and what to expect.

We truly enjoyed spending the week of Thanksgiving in this great mountain home. Our daughter lives in the area and we wanted to save her a drive since she will be heading our way for Christmas. The 8 hour drive from Virginia was totally worth it. The house was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner. The only thing I used from home was my large roasting pan for the turkey. We spent almost every evening by the fire pit, in the hot tub, watching holiday movies or playing pool. The basement was the perfect set up for our 3 kids ranging in ages from 14-24. The property was super private but close to everything we needed. Kerri and Jeff were very quick to respond if we had questions. It was a wonderful week and maybe my favorite Thanksgiving ever.

I liked the creek in the backyard, we ended up not using the jacuzzi but it was there and warm. The house had plenty of TVs to watch a movie. There were utensils for us to cook. It was nice to make coffee then see deers in the backyard yard. The firepit was nice. Airbnb was close to town and stores.

Sarah was very responsive to any questions we had. Space was great for two families of 5 with young kids! We would definitely visit again! Thank you!!

Beautiful cabin! So much space for extended family to play games, watch football, play pool and just simply relax! The views are stunning and the cabin is perfect. We loved all the space and found the cabin to be spotless. We will most definitely be back!!

We had a wonderful week and stay! The game room was a blast! We loved having the boat dock to park the rental boat. Their kayaks are great. Everything was fantastic. We didn’t want for anything! Beautiful, peaceful, perfect stay. Thank you!

The views in this home are breathtaking! It was amazing waking up and being surrounded by the lake and mountain views. The kitchen was well stocked. The bathrooms were beautiful and clean! The kids really enjoyed the game room. My favorite part may have been the very kind and accommodating host. He was very quick to respond and was eager to help us troubleshoot a few minor issues. We had an amazing weekend and would absolutely visit again. :)

Our family of 8 plus two pups really enjoyed ourselves at BVC. We were able to relax and have tons of space to spread out and still feel cozy and comfortable. Moira and Doug gave clear instructions, were very helpful, answered all questions. Kitchen came with everything we needed to prep full meals. We only used hot tub once but enjoyed it! Lots of towels. We really enjoyed our stay and would return if we are ever in the area. We hiked Helton Creeks Falls and went to Helen GA for Christmastown fun. Thanks Moira and Doug. Blessings to you both. Nice private location on the water. Great family home for a gathering. Nice sunsets and dockage and the fire pits are a bonus.

Arriving in the wee hours of the morning, Chuck was there to welcome us in, virtually. His place was more than we expected! Cozy and perfect with all the amenities. The evening fire pit was our highlight. Chuck went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We appreciate you Chuck, and thanks for leaving the light on for us on our next visit.

The place was very clean and had anything you might want. It was so well stocked. Mary Beth is very responsive, never more than a few minutes to answer. I wish all hosts were like Mary Beth. Wonderful location, only a short walk to the dock and fishing. We definitely plan to go back. Don’t hesitate, you will be well pleased. Thank you for sharing your home Mary Beth.

An amazing Cabin style home uniquely furnished with art collection.. Very comfortable beds and plenty of room all around. Awesome big, round dining table...great for gatherings and games. Beautiful sunrises. Super well maintained. Our only challenge was ensuring the front door did not lock us out accidently...but its an amazingly beautiful stained glass double door. Kitchen is fully stocked with durable dishwares and all needed utensils. A very relaxing and inviting living room from which you can enjoy the beautiful outdoor scenery and mountain views.

Perfect restful getaway for our family! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Be advised, the downstairs bedrooms both have outside access, one to a porch overlooking the beautiful lake views and steep dropoff, and the other with direct access to the dock. This was not an issue for our family, but something families with small children should be aware of before booking. (There are plenty of upstairs bedrooms/baths for kids!) The "treehouse" bedroom upstairs--a bonus master suite--was awesome!
