Our beautiful beamed attached cottage complete with log burner is set in over 3 acres of private ancient woodland, in the Forest of Dean near the River Wye. The garden path leads down to a secluded orchard which is a haven for birds, deer & wildlife. The cottage is located in a quiet country lane, with walks to our local pub, The Ostrich Inn and the local town. We are close to all amenities, cycle trails, river activities and the best of what the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley has to offer.

The Bothy Cottage @ Oak Farm

The Bothy, part of our 17th century Welsh farmhouse, offers a perfect base to explore Monmouthshire & the Brecon Beacons. Recently renovated, it has a spacious bedroom with a king size bed & bathroom with shower. Downstairs there’s a large living room w/sofabed and full kitchen. We provide freshly baked bread on arrival & home made marmalade & jam, butter, milk, tea & coffee. The Hall Inn iswithin easy walking distance and there's a log fire for nights in - ideal for a weekend in the country

Walking distance to Monmouth town centre, with all local amenities, and the Royal Oak pub a 5 minute walk away. King size bed, in addition option to sleep up to 2 additional people on sofa bed & fold out bed. Mini fridge, kettle, toaster, private entrance to front of property, parking to side. Level 1 EV charging on drive £10 overnight.

Hidden away on the edge of the ancient Forest of Dean, in the beautiful Wye Valley, with a large secluded garden, accessed by a mile long, narrow, single track lane, hanging with ferns in summer. It's is a fabulous place for walkers and town escapees. Once a woodman’s cottage, with a cosy, spacious interior, fully equipped kitchen, log burner, very comfortable beds, all you need for a relaxing break. Not suitable for young children 1-12, the large garden has a pond and steep terracing.

The Mews House is a homely, light & spacious character cottage in the village of Llanishen, Monmouthshire, between the Wye & Usk Valleys, AONB areas. There is a variety of attractions including walks from the property and in the local area, castles, Tintern Abbey, the River Wye, Roman Caerleon, horse riding, cycling & golf. It is a 2 minute walk to the village shop & garage. The village pub is closed at the moment but there are 3 other good food pubs each just over 2 miles away.

The cabin is suitable for 2 people, open living area with kitchen. Mezzanine level bedroom with a beautiful glass roof for stargazing, en-suite wet room. Private outdoor seating area with fire pit. Welsh cakes, Eggs, milk provided to enjoy in the peaceful countryside. We do not accept Hens/Stags, Parties or Pets.
