We'd love to have you as our guests on the Peaceful Side of the Smokies!! We're somewhat new to Airbnb, but not new to providing wonderful stays at our place in Townsend. Located 2 miles up the mountain from the Townsend Visitor Center, we're in a gated community (not a cabin village) that gives you a private, serene experience just 3 miles from the entrance to the Smokies. We’re in a private neighborhood, so we ask our guests to observe speed limits, one way roads, and quiet hours. Have fun!

We are just 20 minutes away from Bryson City and the Nantahala Outdoor Center, 10 minutes from Tsali Recreation, 25 minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park, Cherokee and The Blue Ridge Parkway. Big Sky Lodge sits on 3.3 acres with 360 degree views of the mountains and woods. It is a brand new build with lots of quiet places to relax. We’ve paid attention to design details with plush beds, double oven, high end fireplace, custom cabinets, large deck, stamped patios and fire pit. The kitchen is loaded with nice pots and pans and pottery baking dishes. Every bedroom has a television as do both living rooms. The top of the property is locally considered one of the best views in Townsend.
