Forest Lane Guest Quarters

Quiet country setting only 3 miles from Downtown Huntsville, 4.5 miles from SHSU, 1 mile from Walker County Fair . Home is a perfect place to come relax after a long day at work or a day shopping on the square. We are surrounded by trees and deer love to come visit morning and night. The guest quarters are set up like a hotel with a full size fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The space has its own entrance and guests have the ability to come and go as needed without disturbing homeowners.

The quaint and charming Sam Houston Cottage provides a front porch view of the historic granite monument sculpted in 1911 by Italian artist Pompeo Coppini to mark the final resting place of Sam Houston. This very special corner house typifies the traditional style and charm of a bygone era yet provides all the modern comforts of home. Located just a short distance from the Huntsville square this prime location makes for easy travel for any occasion that brings you to town.

PLEASE NOTE: Steps on the porches and the kitchen means this is not a rental for people who have mobility challenges. Additionally pets are not allowed.

Newly remodeled (2020) of 1885 Victorian in the heart of Huntsville. Only 2 blocks to 11th Street with all shopping, restaurants and coffee shops. You will enjoy our largest apartment with 1 bedroom. It boasts bay windows and nice views. Next door to old Huntsville High School that has been converted into Sam Houston University Museum. Close to SHSU and everything it has to offer. Off-street parking with security system and electronic locks. Enjoy old world charm.

Peaceful East Texas getaway

20 acres of relaxation in the piney woods of East Texas. Easily accessible from all directions. This is not a place to exert a lot of energy unless you'd like to visit my firewood splitting department. (I may knock a few dollars off the price if you do!) Owners house is next door, Grill, smoker, fire pit, and additional outdoor shower. Pond is stocked with perch. Beautiful walking trails. Golf cart is onsite but availability may be limited.
