What an unforgettable and pleasant stay at Flakk Gård. The farm is very family friendly with plenty to do for kids i.e trampoline, sandbox, playhouse. Our kids enjoyed feeding the goats bread, petting the kitties and playing with the puppy. Situated on a private road right on a lake and surrounded by beautiful scenery with hiking trails and a waterfall close to the property. The farmhouse interior was just as described, clean and very homey. Hot tub was nice to enjoy after a long day at Dyreparken (20min drive). Best of all, the owners were kind and friendly people which made the stay that much better. Thank you Christine and Per Kristian so very much for your accommodation and kindness towards our girls. This is a vacation they will never forget thanks to you. Best of luck with the new additions to your animal family. We hope to see you again someday!

Et fantastisk sted med en god vert. Utsikten til to fyr er helt utrolig. Det eneste som ikke HELT stemmer er dette med boblebad. Det står i teksten at det er sesongbasert, men du må virkelig lese nøye. Heller ikke det at vi savnet det så mye.

Utrolig flott sted og god plass til familie på tre. Vi har kost oss veldig! Godt utstyrt kjøkken. Står i beskrivelsen «jacuzzi», og leste det på tidligere anmeldelser, men den som var ute var ikke i bruk. Noe som er forståelig såpass tidlig i sesongen. Men veldig fint med boblebad inne. Fint å gå opp til Vedlausfjell, vakker natur. Små og store har kost oss, så tusen takk for lånet! Veldig hyggelig vert, som både tok kontakt og var tilgjengelig på telefon.

Great place for a family of 5 plus a dog. Lots of things to do if you love the outdoors. We went every day out with the boat, fishing, hiking, swimming. Espen provided excellent suggestions, took us to his favourite fishing spots, was very reactive if something was missing. Great host - great place!

Wir haben uns gleich wohl in der Unterkunft gefühlt. Der Ausblick ist phantastisch und es ist wunderbar ruhig dort! Toll auch, dass wir unsere Hunde mitnehmen konnten. Das Grundstück ist eingezäunt, somit konnten die Hunde dort frei laufen. Ein typisches norwegisches Ferienhaus in Holzbauweise, gemütlich eingerichtet, mit Fußbodenheizung in den Bädern - herrlich bei kühlen Nächten :-) Über ein paar Treppen geht es direkt ans Wasser zum Baden und Angeln. Ein Boot konnten wir auch am Bootshaus beim Museum mieten - liebe Grüße an Øystein!!! Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt mit allem Nötigen. Dort kann auch eine Angelkarte für die umgebenden Binnenseen gekauft werden. Es gab ein kleines Problem mit der Elektrik, eine Glühlampe hatte einen Kurzschluss verursacht. Emilie hat sich sofort gekümmert und einen Elektriker beauftragt, das Problem zu beheben! Vielen Dank dafür! Ansonsten alles tip top in Ordnung! Wir hatten dort eine tolle Zeit und würden immer gerne wieder dorthin :-)

Et nydelig sted i Arendal med hjelpsomme, hyggelige verter.

Landlige og fredelige omgivelser med imøtekommende vertskap. Vi følte oss velkomne. Hyggelig med griser og padling med både kano og sup brett. Vi lånte også båten en tur. Vertskapet var veldig hyggelige og imøtekommende. Deilig med umiddelbar nærhet til vannet.

I spend a month here and loved it! The apartment was very nice and stayed warm when it got cold. The host was super nice and easy to talk too. She made me feel like I was staying at a home away from home. Thank you!! I hope I get the chance to stay here again!

We were a larger group of colleagues participating at Arendalsuka for the first time, and were lucky to find this place. The house was nice and covered all our needs. Kristin was easy and flexible to communicate with and not hard to get hold of if needed. Much appreciated. Thanks for having us, and we'd be happy to come back. A heads up to future guests: the hill up to the entrance is very steep, so if you have a slightly older car, I'd recommend parking down by the road.

Baard und Ida sind sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in einer gemütlichen Hütte und fantastischen Umgebung. Zu Fuß und mit dem Boot lassen sich alle Einkäufe erledigen und viele schöne Ausflugsziele und Inseln erreichen, sodass man das Auto eigentlich gar nicht braucht. Makrelen gibt’s direkt 100 m vom Steg aus zu fangen. Wer Ruhe und schöne Aussichten sucht, wird sie hier finden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We visited the cabin for our family’s reunion and it was truly amazing! The space was clean and very tastefully decorated, with plenty of room and enough bedroom spaces to share. The house has lots of cosy areas inside and outside with plenty of activities. Our guest age ranged from 5 to 45 and everyone had something to entertain them with from chilling in the beautiful living room, to catching crabs or taking the boat ride. Mona and Peter were extremely helpful and really took turns in making is welcome. Peters helped us construct some finishing rods and we even managed to catch some fish! Overall, we spent amazing few days in the house and have really enjoyed it. If you are looking for peaceful stay and emerging yourself in nature this is a perfect place for you. We are already looking forward to returning here again next year!

We (family of 4) had a really wonderful stay! The house is comfortabel, clean, nice to come "home" to. We enjoyed the surroundings, the casual cat in the yard, the horses, chickens, few goats at the other side of the road. It is a very friendly, tranquil place. Øystein also was very friendly, welcoming and easy going. Love to come back here!

Barbro var veldig hyggelig. Svarte raskt og møtte oss ved innsjekk så vi fikk god informasjon om huset. Veldig hjemmekoselig, nydelig veranda, flott kjøkken og fin beliggenhet. Tre generasjoner koste seg.

Flott hytte/hus med alt vi trengte. Kommer veldig gjerne tilbake.

Toppscore fra oss! Supert hus, romslig, ryddig og rent. Godt uteområde egnet for både badminton, boccia og terrassesløving. Kort vei til badestrand, butikk og bysentrum. Anbefales!
