Cute, comfy space that suited our needs.

The place was amazing as described and the house was extremely clean and well decorated with all high-end decors. The sunroom was amazing with the lake views. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The host Lisa is very sweet she was very instant in replying back. And the manager Alisha was also very friendly and very nice. Looking forward to booking this place again in the near future.

We had an amazing experience staying at Amanda Retreat in Whitehouse, TX. Ron had very quick responses when we did have questions. The place was truly like a retreat with the pool, slide and very relaxing atmosphere. Will 100% stay here again. Very family oriented.

My family of 7 stayed at this place for 2 days and we did not have to leave to get anything. There were pots and pans for us to cook the groceries we brought. Coffee and creamer was already there. There was even seasonings and a first aid kit!! My kids loved the bunk room. It had everything kids need to stay entertained. It was raining the first day we arrived but there was so much entertainment in the house that it didn’t matter. We swam in the pool, went fishing, and played games all in the backyard!! If you’re second guessing this place, don’t! Treat yourself and don’t cheat yourself! This place is a little piece of paradise! We would definitely stay again!!

The house is absolutely beautiful! Nicole was a great host & extremely responsive. We requested to check in early to set up for our daughters party & she was happy to accommodate!

This beautiful home was even more than what we expected. My family and I flew in from California for my niece's wedding. My question to my mother was, "Do you want all your children under one roof?" Her response was "Yes". This home provided enough space and privacy for 10 family members to enjoy themselves, playing pickleball, swimming, fishing, sleeping, chatting, and so much more. They were more than happy for us to have my sister and her family over to enjoy the accommodations with us during the day. Thank you so much!!! I can't wait to come back!

Aaron’s house was a perfect fit for my family to stay for the weekend! Being a college student away from home, this house was just 2 mins from my dorms, very convenient!

Fantastic stay at Sunset Shores with my family! We grew up on Lake Athens and knew the area well. This is such a beautiful lot and the home (and dock!!) have been spectacularly renovated. Plus, the hosts clearly use the space because it has everything you could possibly need. I always favor lived in AirBnBs for exactly that reason. We will be back. Thank you, Shane!

This place was lovely and beautiful! It was located in a very peaceful neighborhood. The house is clean and decorated beautifully. The nearby amenities were not over crowded. The house provided games, sporting equipment, and toys for the kiddos - all of which we used and loved! We will definitely be back!

This was my first time in East TX for work and I was pleased with the home locations well as the surroundings. The home itself is great! Nice and clean, peaceful and just the right amount of space. To top it off Kaylee is an amazing host and communicated throughout my stay. I will definitely stay again if in the area and highly recommend this home!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Yaron was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and made the check-in process seamless. The location was perfect—quiet, safe, and close to everything I needed. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We stayed here for a mother-daughter retreat, and it was perfect! The landscape is absolutely beautiful. Our five teenagers had a blast kayaking and running around the property during a scavenger hunt we organized. The kitchen had everything we needed, and it was easy to cook meals for our group. The beds and linens were super comfy. We also really enjoyed having the hot tubs—a great way to relax and chat in the evenings. We definitely recommend this place. Great for groups, nature lovers, and families looking to connect and unwind!

Needed a quick place to stay by parents house for a funeral. Everything was sold out, so I was happy there was availability on Airbnb. Great communication from the owner.

Chris is absolutely the best host. We had a great time!! Relaxing, kids fishing, sitting around the fire pit, House has had some work since our last visit. So it's extremely nice. Certainly worth every penny... Will reserve for winter also !!! Our kids 15, 9, 12 all enjoyed themselves & loved spending time together with us. Rarely can I get them all together. Lol

This was the perfect place for our large family! With two teenagers, fur babies, and my mom with us, the two separate houses made for the perfect stay. Aubrey was EXTREMELY helpful and if anything came up, she was responsive and handled everything quickly. This was an extremely stressful transition for our family but this air b&b made for the most peaceful stay while we combatted the stresses of moving across the country. Neighbors (though few and far between) are super kind and give that “welcome to the area” vibe! This is an old historical home that has cozy comfort needed for the escape we all want! Huge thanks to Aubrey for being so responsive and flexible! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was a very comfortable house for our group of women. The beds were very comfortable and we each had one. The showers were nice and hot and having a carport to park our car under during the storms was a definite plus. It is decorated so cute without a lot of clutter. It’s also very very clean. Definitely the best place we have stayed at for our annual Canton trip. Wish it was a little closer to Canton but that’s OK, we are used to driving to other small towns for meals and lodging. Never knew there was a big salt mine in Texas! Just wish they offered tours!
