I was glad to have landed in a place at once comfortable and convenient. there were several restaurants and a grocery store in close distance, and we were just moments from the highway. The rooms and furnishings were nice, amd I found it easy to feel at home.

We have just had a very enjoyable weekend in Gateshead made super special by staying at Coalminers Cottage. The apartment exceeded our expectations, being exactly as advertised but was spotlessly clean with beautiful presentation. I particularly loved the cosy feel to the living room with quality furnishings and comfortable beds. Dylan made contact a couple of times before our stay and also checked in with us to make sure everything was OK. Definitely worthy of a 5 * Thank you Dylan.

Wonderful stay, very much recommend. Brill location (we drove & parking was always easy & great for us to see family / get to the beach / the city with ease). Lovely touch Yvonne & Andrew leaving a small milk for us & some very nice cookies. Super kind. Beds were super comfy, lovely quiet area. We will be back.

Absolutely blown away by this property, it was immaculate throughout and some really unique features. everything was clean and lots of extras included for breakfast. The bed was super comfy. Carla was very welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond for us during our stay. We will definitely come back again.

Really responsive and helpful host, lovely apartment, nice and toasty warm in the cold weather! Lots of lovely places within walking distance and as soon as you’re off the main road the location is really quiet. Rooms are really spacious with comfortable beds, en suite bathroom was a nice bonus in addition to the main bathroom. Kitchen was clean and well equipped with cutlery dishes etc and the same for bathroom towels. 10/10 stay we loved it here, a perfect place to stay for a work trip or a city break as it’s not right in the centre of the city but the 10 minute walk away makes all the difference in terms of industrial city noise! Definitely recommend and will be hopefully staying here again soon. Thankyou 😊

Spotlessly clean property. Joan was a very responsive and friendly host. Tea, milk, biscuits and coffee were provided. Plenty of hot water. The neighbourhood was very quiet which allowed us to have a peaceful stay.

Absolutely fantastic stay. The property is beautifully done, the garden was a huge hit with our little one and there was everything you could need. We stayed for over a week and there was so much space and it had everything we could possibly need. Hosts are welcoming, responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend this property!

I booked this Airb&b to celebrate my birthday with a few friends in Newcastle, we had the best stay in Kieran’s place! It was in a great location, was very spacious for the 10 of us and Kieran was quick to reply to any questions! Would love to be back. Thankyou again for having us.

Ideal hub for myself and kids. Very comfortable, excellent kitchen and fast broadband. Would have preferred a better parking spot as I have a large car and needed to mount full kerb to access parking. I didn’t fancy parking on street as it was adjacent to small junction. Just something to note. Aside from that, very happy. Thank you very much

We loved this place, it was perfect for our six year olds, they loved the garden, the spacious rooms and it was a great location to base ourselves while we explored to NE - we will be back xx

A lovely apartment just on the edge of Gateshead/Newcastle with an easy 15/20 minute walk into town. Great location if you’re looking to go into Newcastle town as you don’t even need to use a taxi but you can for 5minute journey plus there’s easy access to large supermarket too. The only negative would be the water pressure in the building, which isn’t the fault of the owners so I can’t fault them and there’s still enough pressure so I can’t fault the place

Great place to stay - lovely accommodation, handy for the metro and shops. We’ve been here a few times now and wouldn’t stay anywhere else if we were coming up to Newcastle for a few days

Had booked in for its location! Was in the heart of South Shields and you could really head to the beach walking. I would book here again if I need to be in Sunderland or Newcastle for the day. The house was decorated in a unique style. I enjoyed the modern decor. It has been kept very clean. Yasmin, was very responsive and helpful. All in all I recommend it again. Would come back here sooner than expected. Thanks

Great location close to park and walking trail, lots of independently owned restaurants, metro and an easy walk to downtown Newcastle. Northumbria uni offers day entry to swimming and gym which was great for us too. We appreciated a quick response from Martin when we had questions. Everything was as advertised and we would stay again.

The apartment is in a very good location with convenience stores, restaurants and bars literally on the doorstep. The apartment was also very clean and spacious and surprisingly quiet given its location under the Tyne Bridge and with all the bars nearby. It is an easy walk up into the town so would definitely recommend for a stay in Newcastle. A shout-out for the little cafe literally opposite the apartment called Quay Ingredient run by a lovely lady who provides delicious breakfasts and brunches.

Great stay at the apartment, Karen was an amazing host, she kept in contact with us and met us on arrival. Karen even helped us to carry our luggage inside. The apartment was spotlessly clean and perfect for our short break in Newcastle. Great hosts and would highly recommended.

This is our third or fourth time staying here. It was great as always. Thanks again.
