Lynda is a brilliant host and had tea, coffee, milk and fruits ready for us before we arrived. The place was very clean and felt like home. Kids loved the place and the board games. The icing on the cake is the location as, it is next to Ocean edge. She responded promptly for any questions we had. We have enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return back if we visit surrounding places. Thank you very much for hosting us Lynda, we had a great time.

We had such a fabulous stay at Carole’s place in Warton. The lodge was immaculate and so well equipped with everything we needed. The location was quiet, private and set around a lovely small lake. 30 minute drive to Windermere and 15 minutes to Lancaster. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

Lovely house in a great location near Lake Windermere. We visited with younger children and there was lots to keep them entertained. Although local play parks and the town of Windermere were not in walking distance to the house, this did not make any difference to our holiday as we would have driven with the children anyway. Brockhole park and estate being a great local spot for the family. The access to the local health spa was a great addition to the house.

Our group of 7 adults and 3 kids really enjoyed our stay. The place was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed. It provided the perfect getaway and we will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at Cathy's. The whole house is very comfortable, especially the three extremely cosy bedrooms. Great location for visiting the area. The access to the spa is a real bonus.

Family of 4 stayed 3 nights in October 2024 and it was just what we needed. Had some beautiful long walks along the beach. The caravan was home from home, clean and cosy. It had everything you could want for cooking a simple breakfast to Sunday Roast. Clean and respectful surroundings around the park. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

House was as described, beautiful setting with wonderful views of the hills and mountains. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and bathrooms are nicely finished with good showers. Kitchen is a good size and has all required implements. A great location for exploring the central lakes and soaking up all that Ambleside has to offer.

This is a lovely town house in a central, but quiet part of Millom. Check in was straightforward and instructions very clear. It was clean, well presented and the rooms were very comfortable. We usually stay in properties outside Millom to get this amount of space and be able to park close by, so it was a great find and one we will definitely use in future if it is available.

First time we used a airbnb and what a good place to start with. Easy flexible check in. Kelly communicated well. Thanks for your hospitality

Lovely little spot not far from beach and town centre with local spots to eat and drink nearby and great access for walking in the lakes Lovely accommodation with lovely huge bed, rainfall shower and the hot-tub was lovely Andrew always replied quickly and was very helpful

The house was as described. Very quiet on an evening. Great location for walking in the lakes following our walk up Scarfell Pike and Ennerdale. It’s not particularly a tourist location but a great base! All locals really friendly and Everything was expected and described.

We had a great time at Canny Brow Barn. Everything you could possible think of or need for your stay, Ian and Anne-Marie had thought about, from a cocktail shaker to cleaning products to games. Would highly recommend!

I had a wonderful relaxing stay with my elderly parents. Georgie gave me so much information and loads of tips during the week, and generally was super friendly and helpful. Her place was warm, welcoming, and very well kitted out for a family week. The location in Bowness village is ideal, just on the edge of the busy tourist area only a few minutes walk away, and very close to everything. The bus stop is right outside the guest house which is spot on for the 599 which goes around the Windermere and Grasmere area and is a great sight-seeing option. Thanks Georgie for a lovely stay, highly recommend your lovely place and hospitality!

Had a lovely stay in this little gem. Spacious living room with a very comfortable sofa. TV good size and quality. The bed was spacious and ever so comfortable, didn't want to get out of bed ever! Bathroom had good bath and shower with medium water pressure. So close to windermere and not a bad drive from the other main lakes. Small and peaceful village with a pub down the road that does amazing sandwiches definitely worth a visit! Had everything we needed, me and the dog. Would love to stay again!

This was my second visit to the house and even better than I remembered. A perfect place to come with my loved ones to celebrate turning 30. I can’t thank you enough for creating a home from home. We didn’t want to leave! I am sure I’ll be back again!

An absolutely amazing place. We found ourselves at home and with all the convenient amenities required for a great holiday. Very spacious and situated in a perfect location. Above all, Brenda was simply amazing, taking time to explain everything and giving us excellent recommendations. She was so helpful and always contactable. We will certainly be returning to this beautiful cottage.

Amazing stay, although one of the bedrooms is a 2 double bed bedroom. Other than that amazing!!

Rosie’s place was definitely one for the list to come back to. It was very clean, warm and had everything you needed. The garden was nice and enclosed so suited our little border terrier well. The decor is lovely, definitely taking a few ideas home … particularly the bathroom. The wood burner was a great cosy addition to come back to after a walk. A great village location, so quiet and peaceful.

This is a fantastic house in a brilliant part of the Lake District. The house is well equipped and comfortable, and Tricia is an excellent host with great communication. Great pub just a stones throw away and you can ride into the trails at Grizedale! We will be back!
