There is access to public transportation (bus) within walking distance (less than a mile). The walk is doable but not incredibly pedestrian friendly. Stay in the large back apartment of this historic Austin home (over 1,100sq ft). Located blocks from the University of Texas and 2 miles from downtown. You will be in easy walking distance of shops and restaurants including Wheatsville Grocery, Via 313 Pizza, sandwich shops, taco shops and French bistro, Hopfields. The front of the house was built in the early 1900's and you will be in the upstairs tree house in the back. Plenty of space for relaxation. Parking right by door. Fully licensed.
