Amazing stay for 2 nights. We wanted somewhere to relax and unwind, and that's exactly what we got. The welcome pack was an unexpected surprise. Hosts were there to welcome us on arrival and show us around. Locally, we used a car due to weather, but some places would be walkable (steep hills). Glad we took our HDMI to use our laptop with and no wifi but good 4g! If you're looking for time to connect with each other & nature, this is it! Comfy bed, lovely views & had everything we needed. Thanks so much!

A beautiful property overlooking stunning views, I can’t recommend enough. There’s lots to do in the area and plenty of board games and dvds were also available. I had a lovely time and the host is lovely

We had a great stay celebrating my birthday. We felt very welcomed on arrival and Gabriel gave us plenty of ideas for days out and local sights to visit. As well as this there were plenty of brochures of local activities and eateries in the guest book. Lovely scenic location complimented by the gorgeous weather, overall it was a great stay.

What a wonderful gem of a cottage. About the cottage-: The lounge sofa is so so comfy and big to chill out on. The king bed in the main bedroom is so comfy too and with the peaceful tranquil setting, made for a great night’s sleep. Having the use of 2 bathrooms is also great. The absolute gem is the balcony - a great sun trap when having your morning coffee. We had mixed weather during our stay but those precious moments sitting on the balcony when the sun came out, was lovely. Even the dog loved it. Easy to find - although a narrow lane to the cottage- there are plenty of passing places so it’s not scary as we had a big SUV and the parking space opposite cottage, was easy to park our car. The communal gardens out the front are pretty and convenient for your dog. The location and scenery are superb— to walk out from your door. Highly recommend the Ye Ole Ferrie Inn (10 mins walk) on the same side. Thank you- we definitely want to return.

We loved our stay at The Roost, it was perfectly located to explore the local area. Leigh was a great host, we received a warm welcome from Eric and the Runner Ducks too which made us feel right at home. The Roost was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We loved sitting out in the garden watching the wildlife and birds. Would definitely recommend

Wow! What to say?!! The Apple Loft is incredible! We had to tear ourselves away this morning: we could have looked at that view forever <3 Jenny and Jemima were the perfect hosts, with excellent communication and the warmest welcome to match the gorgeousness of the location. The Apple Loft is perfectly appointed, thoroughly charming and a beautiful haven. Its seclusion is part of its appeal, with very little traffic noise to interrupt the tranquility and birdsong. Our welcome pack was deliciously generous, and we particularly enjoyed toasting the marshmallows on the firepit, looking out over the fields at sunset. We were away for a long weekend, celebrating my 50th birthday, and I wouldn't change a thing about it. The Apple Loft was warm, cosy, and airy at the same time! It had everything we needed and more besides. It was clean and comfortable; quirky touches (like the spoon cupboard handles!) added to its appeal and homeliness. I could go on, but this is my character limit :)

Fantastic place to stay, thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend and will be somewhere we would easily come back to. Jamie and his family made the stay very enjoyable. They had recommendations on locals places to eat as well as things to do and go to. In addition the tour of the vineyard was a lovely thing to do and Frank’s very informative and tour made the wine tasting at the end all the more enjoyable as learnt quite a few things not heard before on other vineyard tours. Would recommend on booking enquiring about a tour. In addition to be able to purchase wine at the end of the tour being a vineyard it was also available in the accommodation. The accommodation was just perfect, the location amazing and a great base to go off and explore whether going to places to walk or just wanting food. A fantastic place to stay.

The group had a lovely stay to celebrate a special occasion. The surroundings were beautiful and the views were amazing. Great location for amazing local walks. Amenities (such as the hot tub and BBQ) were brilliant. The host couldn’t have been nicer, so friendly and very welcoming and responsive. Helped make a special event even more so special. Thank you.

This was our third time staying at Andrew's and we've loved it every time. The attention to detail in the retreat, how calming it is there and how kind Andrew is just makes for such a wonderful stay. Thank you for being so consistently brilliant.
