HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! We loved it so much, this was our 2nd stay. Group of 13 friends just hanging out for the weekend. Things that stand out include the absolutely pristine bathrooms and the fully stocked kitchen. All the pans, utensils, cutting boards, baking pans, etc. you need. Lots of places I've been to don't have things like measuring cups but they have everything. When we had questions, response was fast. Nice common area for everyone to hang out in. Just a great place.

We had a great stay! It was nice to be able to feel right at home, especially after a long drive from Florida. Sven loved the pet friendly openess of the home and being able to roam around out back in a fenced in area.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful mountain house in Rutherfordton! The views were stunning, the rooms were cozy and well-designed, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind, making everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I have never stayed at a more well stocked rental. If you forgot anything, no worries, she probably has it in the house! Joan left some very thoughtful, personal touches like having the heated blanket turned on for me when I arrived, a bowl of treats, etc. My favorite part is a tie between the gorgeous claw foot soaking tub which I used every night, and the beautiful view of the mountains from a large picture window. The location was really beautiful, and had a grocery store and multiple gas stations within a few miles of the house. The only thing that kept it from being perfect, was the spotty wifi, which is understandable in the mountains, but all the lighting was hooked to Google, so Google either didn't understand, or the wifi kept failing for the commands. It just seemed it took 5x as long to turn on a lamp, than simply turning the switch. I ended up unhooking the one in the bedroom during my stay. I would highly recommend this rental, and Joan is an amazing host.

Very clean and quiet home. Our stay was great we had beautiful views. Sadly we didnt spend alot of time in the home as we were visiting family. Great vacation home if you just want to relax and get away.

Great place to stay if you want to get away. Quiet and peaceful. During the day listen to the birds and river flowing while sitting on the front porch reading a good book. At night watch the fire flies dace around the tress. Loved spending time in my hammock watching the river and the day drifting away. Had a great time unwinding.Will definitely repeat.

Having stayed in a number of houses on this street before, I knew it was a great location and in walking distance to town. From the start Kirk was very communicative and available to any questions or needs we had. The setup is a little different as there are two separate houses sharing common deck and outdoor space but only one of the houses has a full kitchen setup and you have to walk through one bedroom to get to another in the front house. Considering it was a "girls" trip it wasn't an issue for us but traveling with other couples it could be. Sitting outside on the deck, listening to the creek run is one of the best things about this property!

Don and Renie are top notch hosts! They have thought of everything to make your stay perfect-snacks, drinks, comfortable mattresses, ample towels, games, and even a frozen pizza in the fridge! Their mountaintop rental has a beautiful view of WCU campus with comfortable outdoor spaces for soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Don has excellent local recommendations and is a great source of information regarding Western Carolina University. We felt so incredibly welcome! We’ll be back!

We had an absolute delight staying at Cindy's place! Located in a peaceful neighborhood, and close to all the essential amenities. The property itself is immaculate, beautifully maintained, and furnished with brand-new everything. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Our kids had a blast playing at the community's playground and taking leisurely strolls around the neighborhood, admiring the charming homes. This was our first experience staying in a tiny community like this, and we're so glad we discovered Cindy's gem. It's now our go-to 'second home' whenever we're in the Piedmont/Greenville, SC area. A huge thank you to Cindy and her co-hosts for providing our family with a comfortable and relaxing stay. We appreciate your hospitality!

Melodie's place is a slice of heaven if you're looking for a peaceful hobby farm retreat. Around every corner were new discoveries whether the beauty of the landscape or the animals in their various living spaces around the property (horses, cows, chickens, couple friendly cats, and sweet welcoming dog Shelby). If you have time for a walk to the woods you'll be treated to a bubbling brook w a bench beside it for some contemplative time, not to mention flowers to gaze at all along way. We hadn't really been aware of the sauna (maybe it's in the listing and we missed it) but it's an incredible treat if you can find time one evening to check it out. There's even more than the exterior beauty and sauna treat, but I'll let you discover some surprises on your own. Ideally, you'll spend several days so you can take it all in. Melodie's family incl husband + kids were so nice + made us feel at home. Our stay was A+++ and we hope to return. Worth driving a little farther for this GEM.

Our stay at Hiker’s Hideawqy was perfect. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for coffee in the morning, meal prep, and tea in the evening. It’s a great location too. I’m sure we will be back!

I have lived in a lot of places over the past year while traveling for school, and this was the best of the bunch. Everything was great, including a clean comfortable space, available toiletries, efficient appliances, simple check in and out, amazing 10/10 mountain view.

Beautiful get away tucked away in the mountains. We gadw a great time exploring the nearby downtown. Very peaceful stay.

Host was very responsive and accommodating even on a holiday. She was friendly and provided clear instructions and assisted my needs on a short notice booking while in town. The apartment was quiet, convenient, and as described with plenty of amenities.

I work remote and rented Damien's home for a month to disconnect and get away from big city life for a little, and it was the best decision I've ever made. This airbnb was perfect for me and my pup. It has a creek and hiking trail on the massive property which makes for extremely pleasant dog walks. I never had an issue with the Starlink wifi (and I had a lot of devices connected and take zoom meetings all day) while the home is super private and secluded, the town of Franklin with everything you need is less than 10mins away. No complaints about this house or homeowner, one of my favorite Airbnb stays ever and I will definitely be returning in the future. 10/10 would recommend!

This is our second time staying at Lia’s Villa’s. It is a beautiful retreat and very private. It is only 9 minutes from TIEC if you’re coming for horse related activities!

We had such a great stay! We brought our two dogs and there was so much room and space for all of us.

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

Eric was a wonderful host. Directions were very clear and understanding. Although the thermostat is split , Eric was very understanding an adjusted as needed. Great location and get away spot for couples. Very quiet and secured . We will definitely come back!

I had an amazing stay at Casey’s place! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic, with beautiful views of Lake Lure. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful decor and extra amenities. Casey was a fantastic host—quick to respond, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. This place is a great stay for anyone looking for a place centrally located in the Cashiers/Sapphire area. Easy and scenic walk around lake Fairfield. Great Mountain View from back patio. Easy access to Sapphire National Golf Course. The place is very spacious with room to spread out for the whole family and it is equipped very well. Roland is responsive and checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was well. I highly recommend staying here!

We stayed for four nights. The views from this home are more incredible than any picture could capture. We stay in many rental homes when we travel. This is the most well appointed kitchen we’ve ever used. Communication with the host was easy and rarely needed. Lots of great instructions on how to do things around the house. And the space was just simply beautifully decorated. I wanted to spend time with my family in a beautiful home with a breathtaking view. This home did just that! Thank you for sharing your home.
