Whether you need a country getaway or a place to lay your head after a football game, our cottage in the foothills of upstate SC is the perfect spot for both. You’ll find us tucked away just outside the quaint little town of Six Mile, 10 miles north of Clemson University and in close proximity to 3 of the upstate's favorite lakes: Lake Keowee, Lake Jocassee and Lake Hartwell. Here you’ll enjoy the serenity of country life without feeling “too far out" or away from all the upstate has to offer.

Welcome to Laurel Valley. A tiny, sleepy neighborhood at the top of a mountain, hidden from the hustle of civilization. This adorable cabin is nestled in beautiful Jocassee Gorge. Minutes away from multiple attractions including Sassafras Mountain and Twin Falls. Property borders thousands of acres of protected land with 5 star trails . This mountain cabin is in a unique setting that time forgot. The rushing creek outside helps you to peel off the world and get a great night's sleep.

Modern Cabin Retreat w/ Sauna

This space was designed with love and care and the hope that all who stay here feel relaxed and connected to nature. We recently added a cedar barrel sauna that heats up quickly and is user friendly. Often we don’t see guests but I’m always available for questions and recommendations. We live "next door" on the same property with our two young sons. The cabin is located in a neighborhood, so while it hopefully feels removed from any hustle and bustle, there is access to many conveniences.

Mountain Mist Guesthouse

If you are coming to the mountains, why not stay IN the mountains? Enjoy the cool mountain air, breath-taking views, & peaceful surroundings. Away from it all, but close to town. This is a newly constructed, full-size, standalone one-bedroom apartment. Ideal for a couple, or family with 1 or 2 children. Roomy bedroom with king-sized bed & living room with sleeper sofa. Mountain views from all rooms & deck. Smart TV's, Wifi, private parking, fire pit, private fenced yard, pet friendly.

The Cottage at Old Oaks Farm

Built in the early 1900's, this serene cottage is located approximately one mile from Furman University at the base of Paris Mt. It has been lovingly improved, but the floors are a bit slanted and no corner is exactly square. Located in a neighborhood on a five acre farm, it consists of three large rooms, comfortably furnished and lots of natural light. The cottage is convenient to downtown Greenville(5 miles),Travelers Rest, Furman, and the Swamp Rabbit Trail. No pet fee or cleaning fee.

“on the edge” is a small, cozy, rustic, lakefront cabin with easy walk to a private dock on Lake Hartwell. Great for fishing and swimming. Public boat ramp 2 miles. Living/dining area, two bedrooms. Relax on the large porch with swing and rocking chairs or enjoy fire pit area. No kitchen but includes microwave, full fridge, toaster, Keurig, coffee maker and gas grill. Perfect getaway but also near charming downtown Toccoa, Toccoa Falls, Currahee Mountain, hiking…..

The Lodge at Pythian Park

Situated in a 3+ acre gated compound surrounded on three sides by Fairforest Creek, our guest house feels like a mountain hideaway yet it's only a 3 minute drive to downtown Spartanburg. Enjoy the private patio overlooking the creek to relax or prepare a meal on the gas grill. Dogs are welcome, and we have 2 very social dogs that you will probably encounter during your stay. There's ample parking for vehicles and room to roam and enjoy the park-like setting.

ONLY 10-15 MINUTE DRIVE TO THE HEART OF BEAUTIFUL DOWNTOWN GREENVILLE! We are only 11 miles to GSP Airport; 6 miles to Greenville Downtown Airport; and 10 minutes to the Swamp Rabbit Trail. We are minutes to Furman University, Bob Jones University, North Greenville University and Clemson University is only 45 minutes away. We are tucked away open top of Paris Mountain.
