I hesitate to leave too positive a review because this place is a hidden gem! Utila is a special place that felt more and more like home. The outdoor area is like being in a living Zen garden with soooooo many fish to see! Every restaurant we ate at was phenomenal and we wish we had this good of food in our town! (Renting a golf cart the first day helped us get the lay of the land figured out.) Although we don't dive and conditions weren't ideal for snorkeling we were able to find plenty to do( or not do anything at all!). Sandi the massage therapist came right to the house and was fantastic. The best thing we experienced in Utila was the people; we come from a small town and quickly realized this is a small town too! Everyone looks out for each other here and as long as you have good intentions as well they will welcome you with open arms. We fell in love... Thank you, Tamara! See you soon!

We loved staying here! Waking up to the ocean sounds is just something else. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Everything matched the description. HUGE thanks to Tony & Jo who were exceptional hosts. Super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

Tamara’s place was perfect! Clean, great location and well appointed. Tamara was a great host and was super communicative, although we had zero issues come up that needed addressing. We can not wait to visit Paradise Regained again soon!

This is my second time staying here! I love the house, the amenities, how spacious the place is, I’d recommend this to anyone wanting to go with their family or friends to Utila! Thank you Chris and Tamara for the excellent hospitality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We really loved this place. The hosts were incredible! From the moment we got off the plane until the final moments these hosts went above and beyond to be helpful and responsive. The home is beautiful spacious and well equipped . A pool person came over to care for our pool needs, not only did he clean the pool but we think he cleaned our golf carts off after they got dirty while exploring the island. What a pleasant surprise. All around great stay with no complaints.

A lovely retreat located just out of the town, but walkable. Beautiful seafront location and responsive host. Trees need trimming to reveal the sea view, and if you fill the place, you might need more crockery etc. From our experience of Tamara, this would be quickly sorted though.

Life’s a Beach is a great house! We’ve stayed there on two different occasions. It’s a great location and has a lovely deck right on the beach. The rooftop deck is beautiful for sunsets and we love having the outdoor shower as well.

Fabulous beachfront bungalow with great amenities! Was such a great place for a relaxing trip and close to the restaurants and dive shops. Tamara was amazing and would visit again and recommend to any friend!

This was a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this place, not just for the amenities but for the host. Snorkeling out front was beautiful, the pool was great, nice trade winds, whole house filtered water. Jo met us at the dock with a tuk tuk, her personal vehicle and had lined up two golf cart rentals that were at the dock as well. We were able to smoothly get all our luggage and people to the house without stress. She got us settled in, explained everything about the house, and had a guide to Utila with a ton of useful information. The house was equipped with solar panels which really decreased our power usage. Power is extremely expensive on Utila. It's about 4 times what it is in the states. Expect to pay extra unless you want to run the AC all the time or rent a house with solar panels like this one. I don't think we could have had a better host or better house while we were on the island! Thanks so much, Jo!
