The Honeycomb Hive is a Great place to stay for anyone who’s looking for a comfortable night stay in Uvalde. Hunters and Families are Welcome! This 2 bedroom/2 full bath home, is located next to our new Dollar General, and is conveniently located off Highway 83 near the Country Junction easy access to travel to Concan, Highway 55 if traveling to Chalk Bluff, 19 Mile, and many more River spots. Come and enjoy relaxation at its finest. Privacy Fence and a Cemented 2 car parking slab is a plus!

FoxFire Log Cabin

Get back to the basics in a peaceful cozy cabin at FoxFire in Vanderpool. Enjoy reconnecting with nature with a walk or swim in the Sabinal River, hike at Lost Maples Park, birdwatching, or enjoying the stars and a campfire at night! 2 Bedroom 1 bath fully furnished comfy cabins. No Tvs or Microwave but WiFi, campfire ring, BBQ grill full kitchen/bath with outdoor picnic area. The grounds also have a playground, basketball goal, volleyball net, and river access. Family and pet friendly!

Amadeo at the Frio Private getaway with pool & spa

"Amadeo" is a secluded 9 acre get away on Saddle Mountain all to yourself, not shared. 2 cabins with 2 full baths & glorified outhouse/shower by salt water pool & spa. Outdoor lounging, covered dining areas, game area, star gazing by the fire pit. We are located 1 mile from river crossing, 5 mins from town, 10 mins from Garner. Beautiful sunsets and view of the hills, also hiking. Each cabin has queen bed, full loft, full futon couch, covered porches. We also love our guests’ fur babies!

Getaway Cabin w/ access to Nueces River

A quiet family friendly getaway perfect to unwind, relax, bird watch and disconnect from everyday life. Wi-fi is not available. Sleeps up to six people. Bottom level has a full size bed, full bath, fully stocked kitchen,stove, full size refrigerator, coffee bar, screened in porch. One bathroom inside and half bath outside. Located 16 miles N. of Uvalde, bumpy entrance road is 1.2 miles N. of Chalk Bluff. Park. The cabin is 1/4 mile, walking distance to the clear, beautiful Nueces River.

Former clinic of Dr. Hershall LaForge MD, LaForge on Getty offers an updated home in the Old Town area of Uvalde with two bedrooms/2 baths and many amenities all within walking distance of downtown shopping, the Briscoe-Garner Museum, and the Uvalde Grand Opera House. Further adventures await within a few miles at the Frio and Nueces Rivers for hiking, tubing, and kayaking. Cooks Slough Nature Park is a popular spot for bird watching and hiking and is just south of the city limits.

Leakey, Concan, and Frio River swimming holes are all within 10 minutes. In the evening, roast marshmallows in the fire pit and marvel at the starlit sky.

A couple of minutes walk to the town square, boutiques, and restaurants. 2 min drive to HEB or any other stores to get some supplies!
