A beautiful property off the beaten track, with rolling hills and olive groves for views and beautiful skyscapes. David was a very friendly and responsive host, we’re sorry we didn’t manage to try the organic olive oil he makes - perhaps leave a bottle for guests?? Bed linen was good quality and super comfortable, furniture is rustic and beautiful. The pool was brilliant for the kids, and the terraces lovely - maybe have some furniture up there for sun downers, if the climate allows? The outdoor eating spaces were great with an oven, pizza oven and paella stove. The kitchen could perhaps be a bit better equipped with some more serving bowls, utensils and a stock of matches but this was only minor, we loved our stay and will be back! Thank you.

Todo perfecto! El apartamento tal y como se ve en las fotos, todo muy bonito y limpio, la cama comodisima. Mucha paz y tranquilidad. Hemos estado muy agusto.

Logement impeccable et fonctionnel donnant sur un patio. Hôte très réactif. Nous recommandons ce logement car pratique pour visiter le centre historique à pied.

Nice little spot! Great for people traveling with others if you want separate rooms but a cozy community space to gather (kitchen, living room, and large backyard garden). The best part was the amazing views of the Mountains. The hosts were responsive and helpful!

My boyfriend and I loved staying here. It was comfy and clean. There was a coffee and tea station which was complementary. It has a lovely atmosphere.

Formidable accueil de Virginie et Laurent qui ont su avec gentillesse nous faire découvrir leur havre de paix, loin de l'agitation de la ville. Un contact très facile avec des hôtes amicaux, avenants et généreux, toujours disponibles pour venir en aide ou conseiller ! Nous avons même pu déguster les mangues du jardin, délicieuses. Le cadre est juste sublime, si vous recherchez le calme et la paix, au contact de la nature et des choses simples. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et avons eu la chance d'être les seuls locataires du chalet, donc nous étions totalement autonomes. Virginie et Laurent sont des gens avec qui il est enrichissant de discuter (mon seul regret est de n'avoir pas assez pris le temps de le faire), et ils nous ont fait sentir comme à la maison. Nous repartons à regret de ce lieu magique, hors du temps, et sans aucun doute inoubliable...

Great location and beautiful apartment and balcony with the sea view

can see the European balcony from inside the apartment, and the swimming pool water is very clean. Communication with the customer service was efficient. booked a taxi to the airport went smoothly as well! This is a great place for a vacation—very relaxing.

I stayed for two nights in Emily's Alpujarra Guesthouse. It really is an amazing place, and Emily is the perfect host. She loves these beautiful mountains with a passion, and it shows in everything she does, and in the way the guesthouse is. So tranquil, peaceful and serene. Felkor, her lovely friendly dog and Mister T the cat were also great company. I had some car problems on the way in, and Emily was an absolute angel. Went out of her way to help me, and introduced me to her friendly mechanic in Lanjarón. Emily's place is so beautiful. She is an AMAZING cook, so do be sure to have at least one of her dinners. There is also a really nice pool next to the rooms. A great base from which to explore Las Alpujarras, especially Lanjarón, Orgiva, and the stunning villages of Cañar, Pampaneira, Bubión, Capileira, Trevélez and Yegen. Emily is proud to support local businesses, so do go horse riding, and buy some great olive products. It is a wonderful place, to which I hope to return. 😁🙏☀️

In 1 woord: fantastisch! Mooie locatie met een prachtig uitzicht en goed onderhouden tuin! Restaurant/ontbijtruimte is huiselijk, gezellig en met oog voor detail ingericht. Ik zou sowieso aanbevelen om er te dineren, het is ontzettend lekker! De kamer is ruim met een authentieke inrichting, lekker bed (met voldoende kussens), ruime badkamer en een zit gedeelte! Het terras van de kamer was eveneens super relaxed om lekker in alle rust te genieten van het uitzicht! Het ontbijt is divers (lokaal en internationaal) en zeer lekker! Al met al is het schoon, goed onderhouden en prachtige locatie! Bovenal is letterlijk al het personeel en de host Patricia (inclusief de honden en de kat) aardig, behulpzaam en super bekwaam! Receptie was vanaf onze aankomst tot ons vertrek nog tips aan het geven over opties om te doen (daar danken wij hen erg voor!). Kortom: het is net alsof je thuis zit, maar ook in een top geregeld hotel. De rust, de geuren, de gezelligheid missen we nu al! Bedankt allemaal!

I spent a month in Cornelia's house and did not want to leave. The house is in a beautiful little Spanish seaside town, perched on a cliff with beautiful views of the castle and sea ( yes the old sugar and rum factory is part of the view and adds authenticity and charm to the location as it's part of the history of La Caleta) . You can tell the Home was renovated and decorated with alot of thought and care, it's got character and pays homage to the Moorish heritage of this part of Spain. Opening the windows each morning to the fresh sea air and the view was a real highlight. The village is very quiet, peaceful and has a couple of bar/restaurants, 5 minutes to the beach or town of Salobreña which is authentic and wonderful as well.

we hebben, ondanks het slechte weer, een geweldige week bij Antonio gehad. Antonio is zeer gastvrij, behulpzaam, heeft gevoel voor humor, en we waren blij met zijn “tips van de dag”. Een aanrader voor als je je “thuis” wilt voelen.

Es war so eine schöne Zeit ! Das Bett war super gemütlich und alles war sehr sauber und zum wohlfühlen ☺️ Olga ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, wir haben uns gleich wie zuhause gefühlt! Wir kommen nächstes Jahr gerne wieder 🤩
