We had an incredible weekend getaway at this beautiful spot on the Vaal River! The place was not only comfortable and clean, but Linda and Andre were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience. We caught so much fish, and they showed us the best spots to enjoy it all. The swims were perfect, the braais were fantastic, and everything about the stay was just ideal. It’s the perfect escape from the busy city—highly recommend!

This house is absolutely amazing! Aspirational living at its best, I set new life goals after this stay 😝 Worth every cent. The attention to detail and thought that has been applied to this home, made our stay incredible. The owners take such great care of this house. Any issue and there is a property manager 2min away. I would eat off the floors it’s so clean. You are on the water and the unobstructed view is fantastic! The open spaces and views open your mind as well. The house is immaculately clean and the relaxation spaces and room for 10+ people allows everyone to come together or find a spot and have some time. I could have stayed there a month! Flip, maybe next time I just might!

This is a private and beautiful location with the on-site expectations fully fulfilled. The staff are friendly and efficient. The multiple entertainment areas and very significant fridge space and facilities ensured our birthday celebration weekend was a smash hit for all. We missed not having a boat to enjoy the river more fully.

Petra’s place is absolutely stunning - the views and atmosphere are amazing. She is such a warm host. Always willing to help. The space is comfortable and we felt right at home.

We booked the Christmas week, so that we would be able to spend it with all our South African Family. We had a wonderful stay, the property is very well managed, and we were were all looked after so well by your staff members. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The accomodation was very good, the grounds are beautiful, the entertainment area was everything we wanted and more. A great time had by all, both young and old. We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful 8-sleeper getaway for New Year’s! The place was spotless, well-equipped, and truly felt like a home away from home. All we had to bring was our food, which made things so convenient. Our family had such an amazing time that we’re already looking at upcoming dates to book again. I was initially concerned about not having a TV for the kids, but they had so much fun that it wasn’t missed at all. The fishing was excellent, even with the dam’s water levels being low. If we could suggest one improvement, it would be to add fans in the rooms as it does get quite hot at night. Other than that, everything was perfect. A big thank you to the host for their excellent service and attention to detail. Keep up the great work – we’ll definitely be back soon!

We had a wonderful stay…The pool was a real treat, spacious and inviting. My little one absolutely loved the jungle gym, which was a great bonus. The place is well-equipped with lovely features, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend!
