We just returned after a fantastic week in Fredrik's house on Storholmen, Stockholm. It is a real home with a wonderfully welcoming and personal atmosphere. Lots of books and games and maps and nice places to sit in the sun or shade playing board games and read - both inside and outside. We swam and rowed in Fredrik's boats and ran round the island clockwise and anti-clockwise. A truly memorable and special place. My warmest recommendations!! Claus DK

My sister and I spent five nights in this tiny home on Vaxholm. The location is perfect. We were lucky with the weather, so we had our breakfast in the garden right next to the sea every morning, and sometimes enjoyed the evening sun there too. It's also easy walking distance to the ferry. The house is very simple but nicely decorated and has the basics you need. The kitchen is fine for cooking simple meals but isn't really big/equipped enough to cook big meals (we tested it to its limits). We'd recommend walking around the island, and around the Bogesund reserve across the water; visiting the Hembygdsgårds café ☕; seeing the sunset at Eriksöbadet; and catching a ferry to Grinda. Take note, the online ferry timetables are a bit useless, just go to the port! We also hired a bike one day and cycled ~60km around the Bogesund area, which we really enjoyed. 🚲 Thank you for a lovely stay! 🌞

Elzbieta and Bill were fantastic hosts. They were very accommodating and always fast to respond. I would highly recommend staying at their place.

We have stayed in about 30 AirBnBs but this was our favorite. The rooms caught the morning sunshine through to the evening sunset, everything was so spacious and comfortable. The location was blissful, yet within an easy drive of Vaxholm and Stockholm. Supermarket close by. We all felt so relaxed.

Perfekter Aufenthalt – Absolut empfehlenswert! Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Tynningö! Die Wohnung war genau wie beschrieben – sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastfreundschaft von Göran. Die Kommunikation war super freundlich und unkompliziert und er hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Maria’s place is ideally located by car or public transport with great amenities near by, I would recommend car however the bus was just as easy for us. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Maria and her family as it was self check-in ( which was ideal given our late arrival ) however communication was perfect, all my questions were answered super fast and even with some last minute hints on where to get supplies. The house suited our little family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children [2yr, 4yr] ) extremely well, and we were more than comfortable, it really did feel like a home away from home. When we come back to Stockholm we’ll certainly be checking to see if Maria’s place is available again!!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The space was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weekend. The location was perfect—close enough to explore the area but still peaceful and quiet. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making check-in and communication super easy. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful place in a charming area! I loved exploring Vaxholm and the nearby island, and transit to Stockholm is easy, as there is a direct bus. Evie is a great host!

The apartment is located close to a tram which brings you to Stockholm. There are a few shops nearby, if you have a car. Parking is tricky. It is free but you cannot park there longer than 24h, you need to change place. The apartment itself is a bit small. It has enough beds but lacks other spaces. To sum up, it’s worth money if you come there only to eat and sleep or you travel with 1-2 people.

Lovely stay in Nevila’s apartment in Vaxholm! Comfortable beds with fresh linens and all necessary conveniences, and the apartment was meticulously kept and clean. Flott, stor og pen leilighet. Hadde alt vi trengte. Hadde koselige frokoster i vinterhagen. Båt og togtransport til byen innen kort avstand. Fredelige og rolige omgivelser. Hyggelig og lett kommunikasjon med verten. Gav virkelig inntrykk av at han ønskte at vi skulle kose oss i leiligheten og på stedet. Kan anbefalest.

Vi behövde hyra övernattning över en långhelg och fick jättebra dagar i lägenheten, som var både ren, fräsch och mysig. Fick snabb respons från hyresvärden och jättebra bemötande ☺️

Sara is the great host. Very quick to respond to our questions, she gave us very good suggestions on local attractions. House is spacious and well equipped. Location is convenient - very quick commute to city center. Beautiful sculpture garden 5 mins walking. Will recommend!!! Sara - Thank you very much for hosting us.

Very much enjoyed staying at Aura and Diaco's place, it's very well located and is a pleasant place to spend time. The hosts were very helpful with instructions for check in and check out and even provided useful information about how to travel from the airport.

This is a really special find. The flat is roomy with a high ceiling (if anything the photos underplay the space). It’s a stylish, creative place, cleverly furnished and the kitchen very well kitted-out. The outside area is leafy and green, great for kids and meals in warm weather - or just sitting and reading. The garden is accessible from the kitchen and opens out to the middle of a courtyard with a nice area connected to the flat as well as an added communal space with a big table, treehouse and slide which in a week we saw no-one else use. The location is the best we’ve ever stayed in in Stockholm, near Centrum as well as lots of parks and was an excellent first time introduction to the city for our 6 year old daughter. It’s Katja’s living space (which is where Airbnb is best) and everything is well tucked away with a decent amount of storage for guests. Two bedrooms tucked away on one side and another bedroom connected to the living area and its huge(!) sofa. Very much recommend.

Logement conforme aux photos et description. Très cosy et agréable : eau chaude, chauffage, équipements fonctionnels, bonne literie et sauna en bonus! Environnement très calme, dans quartier résidentiel. 10 mn à pieds pour arriver au tram 12, arrêt alleparken, qui amène directement au métro sur le même quai. Vous êtes au centre de Stockholm en 30 mn. Anita et Hanna nos hôtes sont très réactives et habitent au dessus du logement, ce qui est très sécurisant. L'accueil d'Anita a été très chaleureux. Elle est d'une gentillesse remarquable et saura vous conseiller pour le mieux. Nous recommandons vivement !

Wonderfully adorned and a perfect place to stay for a small family. The space is very well-equipped and has a great little toy bin for the little ones to keep busy. It's in a fun location close to a couple accessible bus stops and lots to do around in Sodermalm. Would definitely stay again. We had a fantastic time.

Eliad was a perfect host! Communication was smooth, instructions given were clear! The accommodation was wonderful, right next to transport and the bedding was incredible. I would recommend!

Flott hus m fin historie. Landlig, men kun en kort busstur fra sentrum og gangavstand til kjøpesenter. Kona tok til og med et bad selv om det var ti grader både på land og i vannet.
