Op slechts 15 minuten vanaf het centrum van Amsterdam, en op een steenworp afstand van het pittoreske Broek in Waterland, ligt mijn woonark. Om het erf te bereiken maak je gebruik van een klein pontje, om zo de Broekervaart over te steken. Het pontje is overigens privébezit, en wordt alleen door mijn gasten gebruikt.

Met het openbaar vervoer voor de deur bent u rechtstreeks in 20 min. bij de Arena / Ziggodome en in 40 min. naar Amsterdam of Utrecht centrum. Schiphol is met het openbaar vervoer 45 min., 20 min. met de auto. Voor de deur ligt de rivier de Angstel en de Vinkeveense plassen.

De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.
