We had a lovely stay. The only minor thing was that we had to make up the beds when we arrived, but all linen was provided and Silje was a great host.

The house is located on a beautiful hill overlooking the ocean & surrounding mountains, but with winter conditions a good car is definitely recommend. It’s cozy & the bedroom with the fireplace and chairs overlooking the area is stunning. Things to improve: Include timber (the owner was so kind & brought us some because we didn’t know we have to bring our own), maybe lower the price a little bit, the check in & checkout times & also making the beds ourselves we hoped it would be included in the amount of money we paid. But that’s only our opinion and we would definitely come back because we felt very comfortable in the house! Good distance to beaches, a nice coastal walk & also Leknes :)

We adored Calum's house. As soon as we walked in, we felt at home. Calum provides everything you need and more for a stay in Lofoten. The house is well made, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. Hands down, our favorite aspect of the house was the hammock for lounging! The beds are very comfortable and we got great sleep. We also loved watching the birds at the feeders out of the kitchen window. The neighborhood was quiet and we took nice walks around and out to the jetty by the Norwegian Sea. Additionally we took a snowshoe with Paul from Polar Folk, a friend of Calum's, and we had an incredible time with our 8 year old. Thanks again for an unforgettable stay at your home. As our daughter said, it was worth taking three planes to get there!

We had an amazing stay at Kine's place! Kine was such a friendly and responsive host, making sure everything was perfect for our stay. The atmosphere of the house was fantastic, and it comfortably fit all five of us. The location is stunning, with incredible views right in front of the jetty. The home appliances were also top-notch, making our stay even more convenient and comfortable. To top it off, we were able to watch the northern lights from the yard – an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and scenic getaway.

Très bien situé pour visiter la région de Reine. Le logement était conforme à la description, bien équipé et très propre. Merci à Viggo pour les informations partagées lors de l’arrivée.

Logement spacieux, fonctionnel, conforme à la description, bien situé au centre des îles Lofoten. Proche des commerces. Les lits sont confortables. Les deux chats sont très agréables et adorent les caresses. Ils ne rentrent pas dans les chambres et ne touchent pas aux affaires personnelles. Merci pour cet agréable séjour aux îles Lofoten.

Das Häuschen ist wunderbar gelegen, mit herrlicher Aussicht auf den Borgfjord. Wir haben noch in keinem AirBnB eine so toll eingerichtete Küche vorgefunden. Perfekt für Selberkocher, wie wir es waren. Auch die Stube ist hyggelig und warm. Leif war sehr hilfsbereit und hat immer sofort geantwortet. Etwas Vorsicht ist vor dem bösen Nachbarn geboten 😀.

My friend and I enjoyed the spacious, modern yet homely apartment. Host provided clear instructions and was also very responsive. Apartment was very clean and well equipped. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the place for couples or small families. BONUS: We even managed to capture the Aurora on our cameras from the backyard, when the night was clear ;)

Although the weather during our visit wasn't the best, Glenn's apartment was absolutely perfect for us. Everything was nicely setup when we came in and after long days of hiking and sightseeing it was lovely to come back to this cozy apartment. We would have liked to stay even longer and we will definitely see whether this apartment is free next time we are in Lofoten.

Super séjour chez Alexander! Le logement correspondait à la description, Alexander et Mia ont été très réactifs et nous ont même trouvé un lit bébé! Proche du centre de Leknes auquel on accède en quelques minutes à pied. Allez y sans hesiter!

Great location for visiting the west part of Lofoten. Historical fishing town that is worth the visit, just take into account that supermarkets are therefore a 20min drive away. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen and bathroom (washing machine) as well as the elaborate hikes that are available in the area. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

If you’re thinking of getting aurora tours, just get Rita’s guesthouse instead. It was super clean and cozy, and we saw the aurora for both nights!! Definitely will stay again if we ever visit Gimsøysand!

We arrived in time to see Anne’s husband come back home, and he warmly showed us the place and shared a bit about life in the area. Thankfully he was also around during our check out to get our car out of the snow. Nice home layout, with a storage area for luggage out front - which shows how particular they are with cleanliness. Great view of the mountains from the living room. If you plan to cook, they do have salt in the kitchen, and best to get the rest of your supplies at the nearby Joker just a short walk away. We’ll be back again if we can!

Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war gemütlich eingerichtet und war einladend warm als wir ankamen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, direkt in der Nähe gibt es einen Supermarkt, der viel Auswahl hat. Da wir ohnehin mit dem Auto unterwegs waren, war es die perfekte Lage für uns. Alles was man braucht war vorhanden. Die Küche war für den täglichen Bedarf sehr gut ausgestattet.

Martin's place is one of the best AirBnBs we have stayed at. It is spacious, tastefully furnished, comfortable and clean. Big windows open to breathtaking view of lake and mountains. When the night is clear with full moon and northern light, as we were fortunate to experience, it is an unforgettable sight. Location is convenient to visit all of Lofoten islands. Martin was responsive and courteous. We hope to come back some day!

Très bel Airbnb. Les hôtes étaient réactifs et à l’écoute. Ils étaient très serviable également. Concernant le logement, il était très bien équipé, du salon à la chambre à coucher. Mes amis et moi avons apprécier l’expérience au sein du logement de Christine et Tor. On le recommande vivement pour toute personne visitent les Lofoten.

Superbe séjour dans les Lofotens, ce logement était à l'entrée deux de tous ce que nous voulions visiter, donc parfait.

非常棒的民宿，位置非常好找！附近就有两三家超市也有coop prix，客厅宽敞明亮，还有地暖！风景绝佳，我们就在客厅的窗边看到了极光！！！不用吹冷风！房东Breate很友好，刚入住wifi出现了问题，她马上过来帮助我们解决。也很友善和我们沟通交流，是非常棒的入住体验，能感受到当地的风土与自然和谐氛围！推荐！！

Siamo stati per 5 bellissimi giorni in questo rorbu. Spazioso, pulito, ordinato, con una vista bellissima sia dal soggiorno che dalle camere. Incantevole. La località è molto tranquilla e comoda sia per l'aeroporto che per visitare tutte le isole. Anita è sempre stata molto gentile e disponibile.

Die Unterkunft war sogar noch besser als beschrieben: Sehr geräumig, sehr hochwertige Ausstattung, alles super angenehm. Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Leknes in mit seiner Infrastruktur in 7 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar und trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen. Für Ausflüge in alle Himmelsrichtungen sehr gut geeignet, weil absolut zentral gelegen. Kann ich wärmsten Herzens weiterempfehlen! Vielen herzlichen Dank, es war eine große Freude! Cheers. Frank

Vi havde fornøjelsen af at bo 8 dage over påsken i Rogers lejlighed i Ballstad. Vi er rejst hjem utrolig glade og tilfredse. Lejligheden ligger skønt og centralt med gåafstand til alt ligefra indkøb til vandreruter til busstoppested. Indtjekning gik super nemt og uden problemer. Lejligheden levede helt op til billederne. Sengen og dyner var gode. Badeværelset havde en god bruser og var rent og nydeligt. Køkkenet manglede intet og stuen indbød til hygge. Udenfor var der bord og bænk vi spiste frokost ved og nød udsigten. Det var en stor luksus, at vi ikke skulle gøre hovedrent, men blot lægge håndklæderne i vasketøjskurven. Det siger vi tak for. Alt i alt følte vi os utrolig hjemme, og kunne sagtens havde taget en uge mere. Vi vil anbefale stedet og Roger som vært til alle som skulle ønske at besøge Ballstad. Roger var en fantastisk vært som hjalp os med at komme hjem da ingen busser kørte fra Ballstad. 100% et besøg værd, og et sted vi ønsker at komme tilbage til.
