Our stay in Salema was absolutely lovely. The flat was clean and comfortable. The view was wonderful, we even had a little barbecue one night on the patio. It was a little tricky to locate, so you have to follow the instructions carefully. Ingrid was quick to respond to any questions. There is parking by the flat which is a plus. It’s a great location in Salema, with a short walk to the beach and restaurants. It’s also a great place to base yourself if you have a car and want explore the surrounding towns such as Sagres or even Lagos. Salema is a magical little town in the Algarve, I would definitely visit again and be happy to stay at Ingrid’s place.

We had a wonderful stay! Lucy was very friendly and helpful throughout our time there. They offer plenty of activities and we opted for the catamaran experience with paddle boarding and had a blast! The place is in Burgau, about 20 mins drive from the larger city of Lagos. We spent most of our days in Lagos or other neighboring areas. It was there perfect stay for our family of 4 + 1 year old baby. Thanks for a great visit to the Algarve - we’d highly recommend it!

We had a fabulous time at Paul's place. The apartment is big with large bedrooms, plenty of storage and a lovely terrace with loungers and a table for outdoor dining. Kitchen has everything you need. The apartment is in a quiet residential area, with a heated pool which was lovely to relax in. Burgau is an ideal place to stay, especially if you are looking for a quieter place but with plenty of great restaurants and the beautiful beach less than 10 minutes’ walk. We will definitely come back to this place if we come back to the Algarve! Thank you, Paul, for all the recommendations too.

Paula’s place was a great place to stay in Salema! I found the apartment to be quiet with only a short walk down to the town and the beach. I would recommend this as a great place to stay in Salema and for exploring further along the coast. Visiting over Christmas/New Year most of the restaurants, shops and bars were still open and the beach was incredibly quiet. I’d recommend this as a great stay if you’re exploring out of the summer season!

Thank you Pete for letting us stay in this beautiful flat in Sagres. It is spacious and light where you can see both sunrise and sunset. Beach and shops are close by and it is also in a quiet area, which was great for is as a family. We would visit again!

Great place in a great location in Salema. so close to the ocean. Very good restaurants and cafes near by. Definitely would recommend staying here if you plan a trip to Salema!

Place was super clean and had all the items one could need. Easy 15 minute walk into town/beach/fort. Plenty of easy parking. Nice patio overlooking the pool. Quiet.

We stayed for a few nights in Algarve at Michael’s cozy eco studio and it was one of the best accommodations we have ever had with Airbnb. On top of that Michael was very kind and supportive during our check in despite the nationwide power outage in Portugal which happened on the day of our arrival he guided us to his location brilliantly. Will definitely come back next time to unwind after busy working lives in the city!

Wir haben einen kleinen Zwischenstopp auf unserer Reise im Apartment von Andreas und Felix gemacht und uns dort rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung ist ruhig und trotzdem zentral gelegen – perfekt, um Vila do Bispo und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Besonders schön fanden wir den liebevoll gestalteten Innenhof mit stimmungsvoller Beleuchtung sowie die sonnige Terrasse, auf der wir gemütlich frühstücken konnten. Ein super Tipp war der Ausflug zum nahegelegenen Praia da Ingrinaz. Wunderschöne und angenehm ruhig. Abends haben wir auf Empfehlung von Andreas und Felix in der Tasca do Careca gegessen – super lecker und authentisch portugiesisch, besonders für Fisch- und Fleischliebhaber ein echter Geheimtipp. Nach zwei erholsamen Tagen fiel uns der Abschied nicht leicht – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben einen ganzen Monat in dem Apartment mit unserer 1 jährigen Tochter verbracht und uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Betten bequem. Hochstuhl vorhanden. Zu Fuß braucht man etwa 10 Minuten zum Strand und Burgau ist wirklich schön! Können das Apartment jedem weiterempfehlen!

This place exceeded our expectations! It was spacious, beautiful, spotless & had everything we needed. We loved the small deck in the morning & the rooftop deck and hot tub in the evening. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linens. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking & dinners in. This place felt like home. We stayed 7 nights & didn’t want to leave! The little village is just perfect with a gorgeous beach, stunning walking trails & wonderful places to eat. There are a couple well stocked markets in the town with a couple minutes walk. Marta was a lovely host & was available during our stay if we had any questions. We will be back 😊

Emplacement au top.👌 Possibilité de laisser la voiture et de faire beaucoup de choses à pied. La rando le long de la côte pour arriver au joli petit village de pêcheurs Burgau est une belle récompense ♥️ (resto Beach au top). Vue à couper le souffle sur la mer et la jolie petite ville de l’appartement avec accès privé par ascenseur 😁 ! Les restos sont très bons aussi avec l’embarras du choix !! Par contre le logement serait plus que 5* si un rafraîchissement était fait (jacuzzi en bout de course, pergola demandant une rénovation ainsi que les stores, etc). Ein richtig tolles Apartment! Es ist perfekt ausgestattet und modern und stilvoll eingerichtet, alles ist sehr sauber. Ein Highlight ist der eigene Garten mit Pool. Das gesamte Resort ist ruhig gelegen und bietet auch einen großen Pool, Innenpool, Jacuzzi, Sauna und Fitnessraum. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können dieses Apartment wärmstens empfehlen. Die Kommunikation mit CoolHouses war sehr freundlich und schnell. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt, es war super!

Sehr schöne Wohnung, sehr Empfehlenswert. Es war alles da und genügende Platz in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung war warm und bei Sonne musste man die Fenster öffnen und die Klimaanlage ( Heizung ) ausschalten. Jederzeit gerne wieder😎

This a great place, located within quick walking distance to the marina and old town yet out of the crowds. The apartment is spacious, has a decent size kitchen and nice pool area. I would recommend for anyone looking to easily explore Lagos.

This place was very good start to finish. Liked the location which was close to a good grocery store and the marina. Bus station also close by. Around a 12 minute walk to old town for lots of different restaurants.Well stocked kitchen and very spacious apartment. Thank you for hosting us. Leslie Shawn

Beautiful place! We enjoyed the amazing views from the rooftop patio and from inside the apartment. Great open concept main living area. Lots of outside areas with sun and shade options. Would highly recommend!
