This is the third time we’ve stayed in this home, and each time is a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful, the accommodations are great and the view in the morning is incredible. Shane was extremely responsive and helpful. We’ll be booking again!

This is a beautiful place. We arrived right after an ice storm had hit the area, and the ice on the trees on the meditation trail were beautiful! The house and property are the perfect place for reflection and solitude. We spent some time on the dock, just absorbing the peace of the frozen lake. We are planning to come back in warmer weather to paddleboard and kayak. Mutt is a great host, and was available to answer questions, and his binder of info was very helpful as well. Thank you Mutt for providing us a much needed respite after a difficult few months!

Exactly what we needed for 4 adults and a couple of kids for a weekend of ice fishing. Great "Up Nort" experience, nothing much to nitpick! I'd definitely consider coming back here in the future.

We stayed here for the Pond Hockey tournament and booked it last minute after someone cancelled their reservation and oh my goodness did we luck out! What an amazing home, so spacious, cozy, and quiet. I will absolutely be trying to make this our place to stay year after year when we head up to eagle river for the tourney!

This was our second (annual) stay and we are already talking about returning again next year. We had such a great stay! The location is great for us - lots of great hikes and interesting places to visit within an easy drive. The amenities of the cabin are all first rate. We especially enjoyed the full kitchen and grill and enjoyed fabulous home-cooked meals every evening. The view of the river from the cabin is so beautiful. We enjoyed seeing how it changed from moment to moment and day to day. At times there was mist rising from the water, at other times, the water sparkled brightly. Truly beautiful. We have been so looking forward to this year's week at the cabin - and it did not disappoint. I most highly recommend it to you!

We stayed here just after Christmas for a snowmobiling trip. Unfortunately there wasn’t snow, but Amy and the property manager, Taylor, were very helpful and responsive with ideas of things for us to do in Eagle River. The location of the house is perfect for restaurants, bars, entertainment, and trails (had we been able to snowmobile). The house had lots of space for our group to hang out together but also have privacy. The only thing worth mentioning is the full bathroom in the basement with the jacuzzi tub is not a shower, so those of us in the two downstairs bedrooms that weren’t the en-suite had to borrow the bathrooms in the en suite. There is a tiny shower in the main floor we could have used as well, but we all opted for sharing. The fire pit by the lake was nice. The owners nicely provided dry firewood for our use. Overall, wonderful stay!

We decided to spend the beginning of our retirement at our favorite place, Riverbend! We brought our labs with us and spent the week doing all of the things that we love! The location is amazing! We fall in love with the views of the river each time! The first day it snowed 5 inches but there was plenty of firewood for that gorgeous fireplace. We thought ahead and brought plenty of food but there's always extra in their cupboards. We used their lovely kitchen each day and grilled most evenings. The pups had plenty of room to roam and we hiked the property each day. They even helped us play cribbage! The Hosts are wonderful and let us know that the Northern Lights would be visible and also warned us of an impending ice storm. They are top notch Hosts and have always treated us amazingly! We also drove around the surrounding areas to visit other towns. oh, and we saw bear tracks a 30 minute walk away! We are counting down the days until we're back at Heavenly Riverbend!

We had a great time at the cabin! Six of us stayed and it had beautiful scenery and a warm home style feel overlooking the lake! It was a great place to stay and get to see old friends! We loved it and the host was very friendly even letting us check in early if we wanted and would have let us check out late but we didn’t arrive until the later evening and had to depart earlier then the check out, Dawn was very accommodating and friendly! Thank you for the hospitality!

Anna sure has a beautiful place. It was very peaceful, I felt very at home and it's on a gorgeous lake. It was awesome having access to the kayaks and paddle boards. I look forward to coming back here with my family someday.

Great place for a week/weekend on the lake. The water is beautiful and the cabin is in the middle of everything which is extremely convenient. A very comfortable place with everything you need.

Nina's place was phenomenal. The natural beauty of the area was unmatched, and the amenities provided for anything you could want in a cabin get away. Would highly recommend!

If you are looking for a remote, peaceful quiet North Woods retreat this is it. Everything needed was there waiting for us. Bob & Rita were very good at providing pre-trip info and responding to any inquiries. We had a great time and will consider another visit in the future.

Wonderful place for the family to stay while we visited grandma. Got to see deer and turkeys while sitting in the living room which was lovely. Very responsive host and description of the place and instructions were super clear. Planning to stay here again sometime!

Had a wonderful stay, very peaceful, beautiful view! Fun stuff to do in town, a short drive to restaurants and cute little shops. Had breakfast on the screened in porch, which was lovely.

This place is a hidden gem! Perfect place to relax and unwind. The lake and house is beautiful. Dan is very responsive. The cabin is so cozy and cute! Perfect location

Enjoyed every minute of our stay at Maria's property! She was incredibly responsive to questions and accommodating. The place was a perfect winter landing spot for me, my husband, our 8 yo and our dog. The kitchen was well equipped for all the meals we made, there were comfortable beds, and we enjoyed the puzzles and games galore. Everything was clean and they'd thought of extra helpful touches like the gate for stairs (which we used to help contain our pup), sleds outside (which we used daily!), and a first aid kid for the unexpected injuries my child/husband always seem to get. We've stayed many places up north and this is one we most certainly would love to return to!

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful cabin. it is exactly what we were looking for and more. we are already trying to plan a trip for this summer. Looking forward to using the snowmobile trails for biking. thank you for thinking of everything.

A very cozy lake front cabin for a relaxing weekend getaway! Each cabin has its own private dock so no worries there. This doesn’t relate to the cabin, but we went the first week of April so the lake was still frozen over with a few inches of snow in the ground. We didn’t realize April is essentially “Mud Season” so a lot of eateries and shops in the area were temporarily closed for break/renovations etc. so plan accordingly! Grocery store were of course all open, and the cabin has all the cookware you could need. The cabin itself was great, we loved the fireplace and how easy it was to turn on, the sunroom with lake views and sitting there and reading and listening to nature. Overall, we would love to stay again. Super peaceful and so beautiful and cozy! Thank you!

Enjoyed a peaceful lakeside vacation. Went ice fishing and caught a 24" walleye at night. Perfect weekend and a beautiful view of the lake.

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is your place. The lake is beautiful and the fall colors around the cabin were breathtaking!

Very clean minus a few cobwebs. Some staples like salt and pepper would be nice. Everything in the kitchen is nicely labeled. Very relaxing, great place for walking, seeing wildlife, and the water views are wonderful!

We can’t say enough good things about our visit! We’ve stayed at many rental homes and this is one of the best, if not the best! Very comfortable and nicely appointed with everything you could need, super clean and organized (and I’m picky about clean), gorgeous location on our favorite chain of lakes, very helpful host and nice value for the rate. We hope to go back again next year! Highly recommend!
