It’s a bit of a drive off the beaten path to get there (car GPS had no problem) but well worth the drive! A lovely vineyard with spectacular views from every angle! Even though we were there in mid Oct, went for a very refreshing swim in the pool that is steps away from our room. Just a short walk away is a lovely waterfall on the grounds. Sonia lives on site - she is a gem. She does all the cleaning as well as offers laundry service (for a very small fee). The place was spotless & well appointed. We were provided with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cereal, several cartons of milk & juice, butter, jams, ham & cheese. We also were provided with copious amounts of a variety of fruit (oranges & kiwi grown right there in the vineyard) The piece de resistance were the homemade (by Sonia) rolls and croissants we received every morning - they were the bomb!! Enough food for us to enjoy for breakfast & lunch! Stay here. It will NOT disappoint.

Antonio is a great gentleman and took great care of us during our short stay. This is a really historical house built with solid stones. History happened here. Unfortunately we cannot stay for the full length of our stay because the rough stone stairs and stone walls are dangerous to our crawling baby. This property is better fitted for older kids. Antonio was gracious to give us a refund on the nights and helped us to move to a new location with late checkout (very late). He is always ready to help at any time. We are grateful with all his help.

Nuno’s place exceeded our expectations. It has a beautiful balcony with a view over the Douro river. The pool area is peaceful and breakfast provided was an added bonus. Nuno was very helpful and provided us with great recommendations for wine tasting and spots to visit. The apartment is spacious, clean and has a small kitchen which we were able to use to cook in the evenings.

Probably the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve stayed at lots. The views are incredible, the warm and friendly hosts that are about the nicest people you could hope to meet, the comfortable unique house, it was all magical.

Dajas Douro Valley was perhaps more beautiful than the photos! It was the perfect place to relax between adventures in Lisbon and Porto. We especially loved spending time by the pool by day and cozying up with a bottle of wine by the fire pit by night. Alexandra and Tatiana were very welcoming. A few tips for future guests: The property is nestled in the hillside which means it is at least 20 minutes from towns/restaurants. We rented a car which was helpful for exploring nearby areas, but be prepared for many narrow, steep and winding roads! We found that Waze gave better directions (less rustic) than Google maps. We also wished we had stopped at a grocery store to stock up on some food for our villa before arriving. I also recommend booking reservations at local wineries as we didn’t have much luck just showing up (midweek at least). My husband and I would absolutely stay here again!

Notre séjour à Casa Museu a été super malgré que nous n'y soyons demeuré qu'une seule nuit , nous nous souviendrons longtemps de l'endroit car le décor nous donne l'impression de revenir à une autre époque . Antonio et son équipe ont été d'une telle gentillesse, le déjeuner du matin offre un choix varié, tout est propre. Finalement je recommande cet endroit les yeux fermés . Merci

The view from the house is spectacular. We looked down over the Pinhão River and could also see the Douro River, boats and trains that passed by Pinhão. The house is large with two floors so there is ample room for 4 people. Henriqueta left a substantial amount of supplies for us, unlike many places that leave just enough to get you started, there was enough coffee, milk, juice, cold meats, cheese, butter, fruit and bread for our entire stay of six days and laundry soap. I would describe the furnishings as "eclectic" however, where the place truly shines is outdoors. There is a lovely tiered garden with fruit trees, flowers and herbs and it carries around outside the gate up the hill which we hiked up to visit the ruins above the house. There is an outdoor barbecue with ample charcoal and wood, which we also used as well as patio tables and chairs. Outside the entrance is a long counter with 8 chairs, perfect for your morning coffee in the sun. We were too early April for the hot tub

Je krijgt meer dan je ziet. Zeer rustig en in prachtige omgeving. De host is bescheiden en netjes. Uitmuntend. Minstens 6 sterren.

Si vous aimez la nature et le calme vous êtes au bon endroit ! Le lieu est très agréable, la vue est magnifique. José est très sympathique et de bon conseils pour vos visites. Je recommande +++

Das SevenFarm hatte eine gemütliche und familiären Atmosphäre! Es ist schön, wenn man sich in einer Unterkunft wie zu Hause fühlt. Ebenfalls war alles sauber. Die Besitzerin war sehr freundlich.

We had a wonderful stay here, the staff were brilliant and made us felt right at home. Breakfast spread was also really great. It’s a pity when we arrived it was raining and we only stayed for one night. The surrounding was really beautiful & quiet. The room was really spacious. One thing we felt would be very helpful was to have a chair and small table in the room. Other than that, we really enjoyed the place.

Apartamento moderno, com óptima localização em Seia. Destacamos o espaço muito limpo, as anfitriãs muito simpáticas e responsivas, cama muito confortável e cozinha comum muito bem equipada. Apenas indicamos como melhoria o pequeno-almoço, que achamos que deveria ter produtos locais (em vez dos embalados).

Espaço muito bem aproveitado e conservado, foi um prazer poder passar por aqui uns dias. A experiência foi sem dúvida positiva, desde o anfitrião simpático e prestável, ao ambiente acolhedor e calmo da região. Uma boa estadia! Obrigada :)

Quinta da Xandica, located just outside of Valença do Douro village, was a fantastic, and unique experience. It’s rare these days to find an Airbnb hosted by a “real” (boots on the ground) host who is not only there to share local knowledge and accommodates your needs, but literally who also welcomes you in to the ACTUAL family home. It reminded me of a traditional bed and breakfast, in all of the best ways. (Including a lovely breakfast in a dining room!!!) The Quinta was home to Matilde”s great grandfather, and is shared today with her grandmother and father (three generations). It’s a working farm, and an all around charming, beautiful place. Even during our unseasonably rainy visit, the grounds and area was stunning. Practically speaking, the bed was comfortable & the water hot. Dinner made by Matilde was a reasonably priced and delicious with estate wine. We also thoroughly interaction with other guests, the chipped dog, “Bill”, and access to the surrounding area. A treasure!

André e sua equipe são muito agradáveis, atenciosos. O local da estadia é impecável e muito confortável. Com toda certeza voltaria para me hospedar com ele. Recomendo 100%, pois o custo-benefício é muito grande. A equipe está de parabéns!!

Adoramos nossa estadia na pousada da Helena e da Tânia. O quarto que ficamos era super confortável e limpo. Gostávamos de ficar na sala da casa que era muito bonita e aconchegante e Helena sempre ascendia a lareira para ficar quentinha . O pequeno almoço é muito bom. Sem falar que adoramos as anfitriãs Helena e Tânia, super atenciosas, amáveis, dava sempre dicas de lugares e restaurantes . Esperamos poder voltar uma outra vez .

Loved everything about this place. Inês was a wonderful host, she was friendly and welcoming, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. The property is a beautiful oasis, perfect for a countryside retreat. I couldn’t recommend this place more (If I could give 6 stars, I would!)

Espaço muito bonito e de arquitectura bem integrada na paisagem. Cuidado nos pormenores e cama muito confortável. Todos os equipamentos de segurança e desinfeção preparados e de fácil acesso. As funcionárias, Bruna e Isabel, muito simpáticas e disponíveis, sempre atentas. A comunicação com a Vânia também correu muito bem e agradeço a atenção que teve. Recomendo vivamente!

A casa da Marta e do Ikor é um pequeno paraíso foi meio do país. O lugar é lindo, calmo, revigorante, óptimo para descansar, relaxar, ler. O quarto é espaçoso e muito cómodo, toda a casa está bem decorada e arranjada. E à volta dela, no grande quintal, há recantos com mesas e cadeiras, poltronas, camas de redes, sob árvores frondosas e com vista para campos e montanhas. Mas o melhor de tudo é a simpatia, o zelo, a disponibilidade dos anfitriões. Fazem tudo para que nos sintamos bem, a começar pelos incrivelmente deliciosos pequenos-almoços, e a terminar com as calorosas conversas de serão, passando pelos conselhos sobre praias fluviais e restaurantes. Um suma: um lugar imperdível, vivamente recomendado.

Sehr freundlicher und liebevoller Empfang. Caroline hat mich sogar mit einem Abendessen empfangen, was ich so nicht erwartet habe. Die Umgebung ist einzigartig.....Caroline und Gregory kümmerten sich fürsorglich um um mich....Vielen Dank für die wunderbaren Gespräche! Der Ausblick auf die Berge ist einzigartig. Ich durfte sehr viele positive Einblicke erleben. Vielen lieben Dank dafür! Gerne komme ich wieder...

Foram extremamente simpáticos. Espaço agradável. O Sr. António recebeu-nos muito bem. Deixou entrar antes da hora e sair depois da hora facilitando as refeições das crianças. Espaço partilhado sendo que os proprietários vivem lá mas respeitam imenso os hóspedes e a privacidade.
