The house is in a very nice location in a quiet neighborhood. It’s very well maintained and squeaky clean. The location is very good because you’re not far away from anything. We stayed at the house on a work trip so I didn’t cook much however I did fix my breakfast & the kitchen was equipped with everything I needed. Our host was very responsive and we will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

Erin & Gregg we're great hosts! Great communications with lots of details for checking in and check out! Everything was perfect! The home was beautifully decorated and roomy for our family of 8! We walked to the beach each day and used the beach chairs / wagon....very helpful! Neighborhood is quiet and we walked to nearby marina and enjoyed 🐠 ng, food, and shopping for souvenirs. We had a fabulous time and can't wait to return! Thank you again for opening your beautiful home to us! We all loved our time here! Isle of Palms is a beautiful place...loved the beach too!

Nice little Airbnb with a gorgeous view. Close to several fun spots to walk to like the Cypress Wetlands and the boardwalk in Port Royal. Not too far from the Spanish Moss Trail and a coffee shop within walking distance . I would stay again.

For starters Alexandra’s place was absolutely beautiful, she was great with communication the bikes had a flat tire and she made sure to handle it right away, she was very sweet and over all for my first ever airbnb this was the perfect place ! And perfect host

Host was communicative and attentive. House is as described, spacious and clean. Golf cart was great, family enjoyed evening rides to dinner. Very nice area!

We had a greta weekend in North Charleston! We were in town for a wedding downtown with events on Sullivan's Island and nothing felt too far from the house. Getting in was super easy and everything was clean.

It didn’t take long before we felt right at home in the little yellow house which was comfortable and spacious for our family of 5. Our teenage children had their own space and we did as well. The porch was our happy place for morning coffee with birds chirping in the background and the sun peering through the big Oak. The kitchen table was just right for evening card games and snacks. Ask for the code to the shed if you are heading to the beach. We wouldn’t have spent so much time there without the bonus beach chairs. We are all thankful for this James Island house, its central location and all of the things that were inside waiting for us to make a week of memories in Charleston.

Julia’s place was great! Our family was visiting my little brother for the holiday weekend, so we decided to get a rental so that we could cook for him before he went back to base. Julia had everything (and more!) that we needed, and was willing to accommodate our needs whenever at all possible. Her place truly became our home away from home. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely stay at Julia’s again if it is available.

Great for a short stay, Very quiet and clean! When I had questions, Erikatina answered in a timely manner, would visit again!

We stayed in Robert’s private guest suite for one night and it was perfect, had everything we needed. The suite was spacious and a great and comfy place to crash before our early morning flight out of Charleston. Would definitely stay again!

Micheal was very quick to respond and the house was very nice. Not far from stuff to do, great places to eat within 20 minutes. The WiFi is pretty slow so it’s hard to do a lot on a computer or phone but it’s not impossible, just something to think about if you need to work at all on vacay. I thought the house was very cute and cozy. Me and my wife had fun!

We had a wonderful few days in this beautiful, comfortable home. There’s ample space to relax in the yard, including a hammock beneath palm trees, a covered patio, and a front porch. There’s ample space inside is gorgeous with thoughtful touches and just the right amount of decor. It was spotless and we felt right at home. It’s also a short walk to the beach and to town. I would recommend this gem of a place and will be back!

Perfect location for our visit! Property was very clean and easy to find. Joseph was a great host and provided a lot of proactive helpful communication.

We stayed in the downstairs 2 bedroom unit A. The property is located not too far North from downtown taking approx 20-30 min to walk to the historical district. There is a small convenience store a block away and a very popular bagel / coffee shop right next door. Holey Bagels. This old home has been renovated with pretty colors, the kitchen and bathroom seemed new as well as the decor. As with any old home it has its quirks but it’s part of the Charleston Charm. The amenities provided are really nice, popcorn, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, laundry pods, dishwasher pods to name the basics but the attention to details like, q tips, cotton pads & ear plugs are what sets an airbnb apart and the details are all there at Rutledge Retreat. It is important to note that one of the bedrooms is on the street and can be quite noisy even at night, with the traffic stopping at the red light and the fire trucks going by, the provided earplugs came in handy.

We were glad the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and spices! We loved the cast iron pan! We were also glad for in unit temperature control, steaming services, and nearby grocery stores. Andrea was very responsive, generous, understanding, and a great host. The unit is next to a busy road, so we could hear traffic noises when the windows were open, and there wasn’t anywhere to go for a walk from the unit, but there were lots of beautiful parks within a short drive. All around a great stay! Would recommend!

Great place to stay! We really enjoyed this place as well as the hosts. They were present, but nonintrusive. It was great to pray with Neil before we checked out. We highly recommend this stay!!

This is the true meaning of hidden gem, very private in a beautiful setting, both inside & outside the home. Highly recommend! The other gem we found close by was the Hampton Plantation State Historic Site. I've been to many plantations, and this one was extraordinary. Small fee to get in, due to State run, with HUGE impact on what life was like in the 1800's. The house is 10,000 sq ft (3 stories) and when repaired, the walls were left uncovered to see how it was built by slaves. The house inspired the actors & directors of the movie "Gone With The Wind", and the live oak in front of the house was saved by George Washington. So much history!

Lovely property, quiet & private. Hugh stopped in the first day to see if I needed anything. Otherwise, I was completely by myself which is what I needed this week! Everything was as described.

Suzy’s place was just as described. The place was well stocked, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again if working in the area.

Our family loved this cabin AND the tiny home. My teenage daughter had her own little home and she was obsessed! This place was very clean and peaceful. I always bring my own sheets because I am weird with other people’s sheets and I didnt even need them. I slept right in the bed. The host was very friendly. This cabin and tiny home is very well stocked as well. It had everything we needed. I love his labels all over for the lights, it made it easier to figure out what everything was for. So much wildlife!!!!!! We visited Charleston and folly beach mostly. They were amazing. 5 stars! We will be back!

This place lived up to its name "The Sanctuary." So beautiful and peaceful. Very well decorated. Dustin was so welcoming and responsive. We want to come back!

our stay was amazing! Beautiful vintage feel to the cabin, super easy to find, had everything we needed & more for the stay! Joe even hand delivered paper towels to us & we had free usage of the canoe/dock which was awesome! we would love to stay here again :-)

This is a very clean and cozy cabin, on a beautiful piece of property. The porch and deck on the edge of the lake was our favorite. The host communicates everything you will need and are gracious with their time, property, and animals. The location was perfect for us and close to anything we needed. Very unique Airbnb. Can't wait to return someday !
