We had a good stay at The Alpine Chalets. Checkin and checkout were very easy. Stewart and Mary were very responsive and provided clear instructions. The place was very accessible to everything that you might need like bus stop, restaurants and dairy. The room is a bit dated, especially the toilet and shower, but overall it was functional, clean and tidy.

Love the parking, right next to unit. Thanks for outdoors chairs. Water temp was very hard to regulate. Kitchen well equipped.

Andrea’s lodge was just perfect. We had everything we needed. Fully equipped kitchen, a warm fireplace, nice and tidy room. We felt like home. She gave us some recommendations for the area. There is also a pick for the shuttle bus to the start of the Tongario crossing right in front of the street. Easy to book and close to the start and end. Self laundry with coins available at the reception (if you have none) We can highly recommend this place!!

Excellent stay at Plateau Lodge. Super clean and very well appointed! Very convenient to the park. Recommend this place 100%!

Great place to stay and great location for if you want to do the Tongariro Crossing hike, many options for companies who will pick up and drop you back off at the Airbnb.
