Close by lies the vegetable garden, and friendly cows graze just over the fence. Experience our bespoke, solar powered cabin, rustic but surrounded by nature. With an outdoor bath, ( not hot tub) overlooking the river. This private area is perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with yourself. Wear covering clothing outdoors for insects 15 minutes from Hobbiton, close to Te Waihou Blue spring and Waiwere falls. Arriving at night, follow the solar lights. Dogs are welcome but no aggressive dogs. Please take your waste with you, we have don’t have bins in rural areas.

The Cabin is located at Hamurana, in a 2 acre garden setting 350m from Lake Rotorua. Located 120 m from the owners house and is completely private. All around are Sugar Maples with ferns and native plants underneath which attract the fantails. Purpose built and architecturally designed in 2019 as a holiday retreat using passive home guidelines. The cabin is a 15 minute drive from Rotorua CBD, close to all tourist attractions while allowing you the peace and quiet of a luxury retreat.

The Gazebo

The Gazebo is a unique small space at the end of the Raglan harbour. Privately sited on a small farm founded on permaculture principles, The Gazebo features native timber, a mezzanine relaxation platform, and unique indoor-outdoor living spaces.
