Waikawa is a microclimate very sheltered and peaceful, private outdoor living on the guest patio, BBQ, Sheep in the adjacent paddock, 5 minutes to the safe swimming beach, 4 minutes to the local marina, Jolly Roger Café bar. 8 minutes drive to Picton's shops, restaurants and ferry terminal. There are many bush walks. Karaka Point Maori Pa Site is four km .

The Studio is only an 8 minute drive from Picton and the ferry (approx. 4kms), the cafes, restaurants, bars, aquarium, museum and the gateway to the Queen Charlotte Sounds. Enjoy the many walks, bike tracks and choice of boat cruises on offer from the Picton foreshore, or simply use our place as a convenient ferry stopover. Blenheim is only a 35 min drive if you want to explore further afield.
