Relax and put your feet up in this peaceful hideaway, down a back section in the heart of Windsor. A 5-minute walk from the shopping centre with a supermarket, pharmacy, boutique shops, pizzeria, fish and chips and cafes. A short stroll away is the Waihopai River Walkway, the beautiful Queens Park is a 10-minute walk away, and 10 minutes drive to the city centre. Please note the 2nd bed is a fold out couch (it is extra) and the guesthouse is beside our garage (so you may hear the garage door).

We have updated to a smart TV & wifi This place is ideal for family holidays or a relaxing couples retreat, with a short 3 minute walk to a lovely safe swimming beach, you are also within walking distance to the Beach House Cafe/ Restaurant or Takeaways and there's also a children's playground close by.

Whare manu, boutique cottage.

Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. If you would like your stay to include the 24 Dec please contact us, we can open for you, there are no checkouts on 25 Dec & a min 2 night stay. This is a unique place.

The Nest, Tiny House sanctuary near Riverton

Tucked away at the edge of an idyllic pond, The Nest is purpose built, premium accommodation which offers tranquility, relaxation, and ample bird watching. Private beach access is just 500m walk away. This Tiny House boasts sunny outlooks over our dairy farm, with ample outdoor space and an outdoor bath and BBQ to enjoy. The historic Templeton Flaxmill Museum is also on the property. Riverton township is just 5 minutes drive and offers great local dining options, art and surf spots.

Old farm hut, near Winton , Central Southland

Situated 10 mins from the township of Winton, central Southland. We are a sheep and crop farm, good views over the paddocks from the hut deck. All the basics you need, bed, chair, table, kitchen, bathroom and then your own outside eating area and bath on the deck under the veranda. Nearest town is Winton 10 mins away , with supermarket, choice of places to eat or takeaway. A great spot in central Southland 2 hr Queenstown, 45 min Invercargill, 1hr 10 Te Anau, 35 m Riverton Beach

Riviera Shack

Great little spot. 200m from the North beach & River. 5min walk to central Riverton - supermarkets & cafes. You maybe able to bring your dog - please check with me first. Dogs need to be kept on a lead around our yard at all times (because of our animals). And they also need to be able to stay off the furniture. The Shack (and yard) are not child safe, please let me know if you have a young child with you. We are also on the Te Araroa Trail, so great for backpackers.

Robbie's Beachside Studios (A)

Robbie's Accommodation consists of two absolute beachfront studio units located only 65m from the high tide mark, boasting fresh modern décor, a kitchenette (no cooking) but with tea and coffee, fridge and toaster, but there’s great cafes and restaurants nearby. Each room is separate and has its own ensuite bathroom. You can surf right to your door step on one of NZ's longest waves, or watch the boats come in and relax enjoying the stunning sea views of Taramea Bay.

The Whimsical Studio is a light, spacious and private wee haven. Fully self-contained with a larger bathroom, awesome shower and a well equipped kitchen. Surrounded by nature with a covered deck and cute courtyard to enjoy the beautiful outlook across the paddocks towards Taramea Bay & beyond. We have an array of birdlife to observe and a resident Kereru. By night stargazing is easy with the wide open sky while listening to the creek, the sea, frogs & morepork.

Relax with the whole family at this cosy 100 year old completely restored fisherman’s cottage. Situated in a peaceful semi rural area but within minutes of Riverton town centre. Stunning ever changing lagoon views with great sunsets. Fully equipped kitchen. Gas barbecue. Heat pump and double glazed windows. Gas hot water system ensures plenty of hot water. Within walking distance of Aparima Restaurant & Bar. While pet friendly the garden is not fenced off.

Miro

Welcome to Miro, our brand new build ( December 2019) accommodation. Set in a private situation with some water and mountain views, 2 minutes walk down to a secluded beach which is linked by a walkway to Riverton’s main beach. Fully self contained with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Multi channel sky tv, unlimited free internet , a free continental breakfast and even a coffee machine are features. Your utmost comfort is our aim.

Charming Studio on Herbert

Charming self contained studio on Herbert Street, in the northern suburbs of Invercargill, renovated with style, comfort and an emphasis on cleanliness. Please note breakfast is not provided, although we do have a few treats for our guests. Peter & I live next door and happy to help with queries etc. Just a few minutes from the Windsor shops, including New World. The main shops are only 10 minutes away, as is most of Invercargill!
