Beautiful spot right across from the beach. Quiet and peaceful, just what we needed.

A tranquil hidden gem. Enjoyed the back garden with tui and kereru swooping overhead in the morning and warm sunshine in the afternoon. A lovely host who helped when needed then left us be. The studio had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Would love to come back to explore the region further.

A comfortable, compact apartment, perfect as a base for a worker. Was welcomed by Paul and given a tour, he and Leigh were friendly and always available to help/ chat / lend their dog for walks on the beach !! Lots of small details have been thought of. I particularly appreciated the well kitted out kitchen. The beach is visible from the kitchen window and accessible by walking down the driveway.

Lovely quiet unit, back from the road, within easy walking distance of the beautiful beach, playground and cafes. Homely atmosphere with private deck. The unit was lovely and clean with all the amenities of home

We were staying at Paul's place for almost a month. Paul and his girlfiend are very helpful and kind hosts. It was the perfect location for a longterm stay, the kitchen is very well equiped and Paul allowed us to use his deck and the barbecue. We really enjoyed the stay.

Lovely host and great place to stay, with everything we needed. Wonderful location, right near the beach and a couple cafes. Liana was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Would absolutely stay again.

had a wonderful stay. Spacious kitchen and living room. plenty of outdoor space too. perfect for our family get away with extra mattresses for additional sleeping needs with younger kids. very peaceful neighborhood with playground a short walk away. 👍🏻

Jnana was a fantastic host, incredibly responsive and accommodating., we were also able to check in earlier than we expected, so that was wonderful. We had the most wonderful stay at Aisling’s home! The house was perfectly situated, just a stone’s throw from the beach and only a short 6-8 minute drive to Opotiki township. The cleanliness was exceptional, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, making it feel like a true home away from home. The doors and windows leading out to the deck were a highlight, allowing the fresh air to flow through the home. The deck itself was perfect for relaxing, whether it was sipping morning coffee or enjoying dinner with family. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there was an ample supply of bedding, which added an extra layer of comfort. The entire home exceeded my expectations, and my family thoroughly enjoyed our 2-week stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend Aisling’s home – it’s a true gem!

Such an amazing property, our group absolutely loved it! It is beautifully presented with lots of lovely little touches. The location is great and Ohope beach is just gorgeous. Two nights here was not enough, we definitely want to come back again.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Barbs beautiful home, it had everything we needed, fully equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining, loved the outdoor deck straight off lounge nice spot to eat and relax a wonderful touch was each room was so beautifully presented and the spa pool topped off each day with a relaxing soak. Feeding Mr Wilson was great too the kids enjoyed having a little job each day. Thank you so much. We had a lovely Easter weekend together.

felt like home, very relaxing. We had 3 generations in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. Close to Opotiki if we needed to go out, but the cupboards were well stocked when we needed to stay in. Loved our stay and would recommend it to others. Thank you
