Great place for big group or couple of families although small dining area - only seats 4 people and needs some larger pans/dishes for food prep. 3 full bathrooms which are great but beware some don't have locks although they are ensuites. spacious bedrooms and comfy beds. Beautiful outlook over farmland but one night neighbors were quite loud and playing music until late, and doing burnouts with a bike. Laundry available with clothes airer and appreciated having laundry powder available. Simple but great place for our need. If planning on spending time at the house be sure to take your own cards or board games.

This place is a true find❤️!!! While we have enjoyed our beach stays in New Zealand, this exceptional country accommodation is an absolute must for anyone traveling to NZ. There were 4 of us (my husband and I plus our 2 adult kids). The cabin was perfect for this trip AND on our next stay here we will book at their larger cabin. Both cabins are absolutely gorgeous and decorated beautifully. There are many gorgeous close hikes plus lots of drivable activities. We went to one of the Hobbit film locations (Hairy Feet Tours) just a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk from our cabin. We have a stunning view of the rock cliffs from our place. I strongly suggest staying at this place as part of any trip to New Zealand. It's private, quiet, has an amazing host, and is totally first class. Simply a must!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

As a family of 5, we used the cosy cottage as a base for our holidays. The cottage was beautifully appointed and was clean and comfortable. Great having a garage for our car, and laundry facilities. Christine went above and beyond with fresh milk in fridge and she checked in throughout our stay seeing if we needed towels replenished! Would throughly recommend this home. Everything was labelled, instructions clear and had everything we needed!

This was a last minute plan and Robyn extended to us a very warm welcome and accommodated us very quickly. Her place is homely, cosy, safe and very accessible. A really nice short stay. Thank You

We booked this along with the main house and are in love and will be back. The whole space was amazing, well set up and stocked etc with the best views and sounds of the ocean ever. Thank you both so much again x

Beautiful property, was a lovely place to stop over for the night. Hosts were super friendly, even offered to have lights on for us if we were arriving late! Definitely recommended this spot!

We enjoyed meeting Alison, she was very sweet and welcoming. The area was spacious, and we appreciated the kitchen and comfortable bed. A great stay!

Silk Tree is an amazing place to stay. Extremely relaxing and beautiful accommodation. There is also so many free things to do in nearby area such as Marokopa Falls which are amazing. Make sure to stay at least 2 to 3 nights as you need at this time to see everything the area has to offer. Sandra and her two darling dogs are amazing host and add so much to the experience. Highly recommend

Fabulous little cottage with everything we needed. Kitchen was tiny but practical - fun cooking toast and boiling the kettle on the gas hob. We really enjoyed doing the Misty Mountain hikes around the covenants on the farm - was a challenging path (especially for our 5 year old) but a great adventure with amazing views
