Our Family of 5 absolutely loved our 3 night stay here, cannot say enough good things about this town, this host and this lovely space - everything was above and beyond our expectations! The space is larger than it appears in photos and everything inside was top quality. Our 3 kids each loved having their own bed. We enjoyed cooking and eating in as well as sampling the yummy food that the town has to offer. Sarah provides a great selection of movies, novels and picture books of the area as well as the most impressive Welcome Basket - much appreciated after a busy travel day!

This place is really special. We felt at home straight away and our little dog did too! It was comfortable and clean, equipped with everything you could need. It feels like it was once a loved home. Minutes from the beach and really nice restaurants, pier etc. Perfect communication from Maureen. We had a great time and would love to go back soon.

Had a lovely few days at the Crows nest, would highly recommend, the location was great for restaurants and shops. We couldn’t fault the apartment it had every thing we needed, very comfortable would definitely like to return

The accommodation was amazing to stay as a family! Plenty of space, clean and tidy! Everything was exactly as in the description. Treats in the fridge were a nice surprise as well!!! Joanna was so responsive and helpful. We will definitely recommend the apartment to our friends and come back ourselves next time we are in Ipswich. 🥰

Fantastic stay, was just what I needed. So peaceful, lots of birds singing when o sat outside and had dinner. Beautiful sunset. Great space to sit and read/write too. Grateful for the information about the local village - I enjoyed the local Chinese food! Also a really nice walk from the local sailing club to a nearby marina. Would stay here again, thanks Anne.

Lovely cosy flat with everything you needed with lovely surroundings. Julia was a great very friendly host very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay would recommend her flat as a great place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert and Lorraine's house. The flat is right opposite the beach which is amazing. The flat was very clean. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels which was very handy. overall a very positive experience.

This was my first booking with Airbnb so I didnt really know what to expect but Mel has certainly set the standard. She is a friendly, helpful, honest, and incredibly responsive host. The house was exactly as described and the quiet location was perfect for us. We'll definitely stay again when we return to Mersea Island, which was beautiful too!

Carol was extremely helpful and friendly. She was a great communicator and gave us lots of recommendations to do whilst in the area. Carol's house is is a great base for a holiday in this area.

Stayed over the Easter weekend. Clear instructions on how to find it & get inside. We had 2 cars so parked 1 in the secure gated area which was a real benefit, the other car on the street. There was always space available in the road but not always directly outside the house. The house is on 3 floors with big spacious bedrooms & a seaview from the rear rooms. Exceptionally comfy beds & good quality bed linen & towels. A well equipped kitchen & a good stock of board games in the living room which we had fun using each evening. Other houses in the street had a wheelie bin but I couldn’t find ours so sorry, we couldn’t empty the bins as we normally would when vacating a property. 1 thing I would add to the top floor bedroom would be a comfy chair, there’s space for 1 & it would be a nice place to sit & read. The house is next to a trainline but right at the end of the line so no noise at all. Harwich is small & seemed very quiet. A few shops, pubs & restaurants easy walking distance away.

This was an absolutely perfect stay. The house is enormous yet homely, beautifully appointed and with the most breathtaking views. The pool and spa are an added bonus and the path down to the beach / estuary is gorgeous. All in all an absolutely fabulous place and we will be back. Thank you xxx

This not not the first time we have stayed here, which is a recommendation in itself. We did have a problem with the television but our hosts did all they could to sort it while we were there, and the remaining issue they will very probably have sorted by the time the next guest arrives. It was not significant enough to affect us in any significant way.

Beautiful place in a beautiful location. Perfect stay, house is gorgeous, very clean & has everything you need. Great welcome pack and lovely touch leaving a bottle of Prosecco. Great hosts! Awesome location… Lots to do within walking distance, for adults and children. Would definitely love to come back, and highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

We has a wonderful Easter weekend at Tom’s place in Aldeburgh. The house was exactly as described and only a 30 second walk to the beach! There is plenty of room inside, and the house is right on the High Street next to a very popular bakery. Check in instructions were very clear. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering a trip to the Suffolk seaside. Thanks Tom!

What a fantastic stay! Kim was very communicative in the booking and check in process. The flat was spotless on arrival and she had left lots of treats for the stay with coffee/tea/condiments/spices. It felt just like a home away from home. The location was fantastic for walking everywhere as it's so close to the train station. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

We loved our stay here. It looks just like the images, and is larger than expected. Beautiful decor, and great attention to detail. There's even a beach blanket and picnic basket to borrow. Basket with eggs, cheese, milk, butter, delicious bread and cake very welcome indeed. If you feel like going further afield to eat, The Ship in Kirby Le Stoken (8 min drive) is great, and very reasonable.

We had a lovely weekend getaway at Tim’s place. I booked it very last minute and he was quick to get all the information to me to ensure a smooth entrance to the property. The flat itself is right on the beach with gorgeous views for your morning coffee! The flat is quiet and cosy and has everything you need for a relaxing trip. Thanks guys!

I stayed in Myles’ flat for 7 weeks as a student at the hospital and it was everything I could have asked for! Super easy check-in / check-out, really good comms throughout, really quiet area, no noise disruption despite being on ground floor and felt really safe living there alone. The flat itself was pristine, well-equipped kitchen, good wardrobe/storage space and has a nice cozy vibe - feels very private. Within 5 minute walk of a big tesco, good bus routes - generally really good location. Thank you Myles!!
