The Roost was great for the few days we were there. It was clean and organized. For a first time Airbnb experience it certainly was a great one. We look forward to returning someday. The outside hammock swings and upper deck looked very inviting, unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate. Perfect for a two person getaway.

This location has a lot of beauty around it. Recommend arriving during the daylight as it is very dark and so you might need a flashlight to find the keys to get in if you come after dark. Might recommend motion sensor lights to help with this but not a huge deal breaker. They describe the door entrances very well but location this place using their instructions could seem a little vague based on how other entrances looked. But my GPS took us straight there with no issues so the description was not a huge deal. We chose to stay downstairs as it had the gas stove and main shower but the beds need a little attention to their frames as they were a little squeaky when laying down or moving any slight movement. The view was amazing and we got some great pictures of the northern lights. We were not there except to mainly sleep as our trip was for business but would have enjoyed this home if we stayed in the area again. If you need several beds, check this place out.

Very nice place to stay. Served my family well while we attended a wedding. Very quiet and clean. Amazed by all the deer. Absolutely loved the sliding door for the upstairs bathroom. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Eastport.

Our stay with Kim was fabulous! She was very helpful, and so welcoming. The Chalet is a special place, and as soon as we walked in the door we felt right at home. We really liked the upstairs entertainment area, with games, tv, and a comfy couch. It was a great place to unwind after a long day of exploring down east Maine. Kim left an abundance of resources and guides for the immediate area and beyond. We had a full list of sights to see, food to eat, and everything we would have at home. We utilized the perfectly equipped kitchen for a few meals at home, and the bed in the large bedroom was super comfortable providing plenty of rest for the days activities. The home itself is beautifully set directly on the ocean, with a bench for viewing, or shoreline rocks for sitting and getting some sun. As a builder, I can say the Chalet is remarkably insulated. You can have the sound of the ocean, or complete silence, it’s up to you. I highly recommend this property, I’m sure you’ll love it!

This little cabin is absolutely idyllic. Hidden in the woods on the lake, it is a perfect get away spot. The wooden fire and incredible views were perfect the fall weather. Easy check in, great ammenities and awesome communication from the host. Loved it and couldn’t recommend the place more 🤗

Beautiful cabin and gorgeous view of the lake! We stayed here for two weeks for work and were very glad to have such a comfortable and homey place to come back to after long days in the field. The house is spacious with a large, well stocked kitchen for cooking. And the view of the lake tops it off. Because of our long work days we didn't get to enjoy the surroundings as much as we'd like, but the house is also well stocked with outdoor/lake amenities (canoe, floaties, paddle board) that would be great in warmer weather. The deck is great to sit and enjoy the view. Very peaceful area. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at Rachel's place. It was very clean and had a great garden (saw the deer). The kitchen units are a little tired and only basic cookware is supplied but, hey, who wants to cook on vacation! The town is quiet off season and we were glad we chose to stay here rather than Bar Harbor which was very touristy -the children loved the ferry over. The local library was an unexpected gem, so beautiful inside. The local people couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.

"The Healing Shack" worked out really well for me and for my dog. Quiet location and very private. We started each morning by taking a walk on a road that had beautiful views of the bay but with little traffic. The cabin itself was a bit quirky, but for me that was part of the charm. I texted Melissa twice with questions about the cabin and each time she replied within minutes. Although the cabin had a sleeping loft, I opted to sleep on the couch so that I could be on the dog's level and it was actually very comfortable.

My husband, daughter, granddaughter, grandson, and myself stayed at the Cozy Cottage over Easter weekend. It was perfect for all of us. The hosts were extremely helpful and always got right back to us with any questions that we had. It was very clean and had all the cooking supplies we needed. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay on a beautiful lake. Thank you Chris and Andrea.
