Solana House is simply amazing! The friendliest and the nicest staff, always helpful, smiling, very proactive and flexible. There was no problem with checking in earlier and basically no problem with anything :) the room and all other space were super clean always and the whole stay in general was very lovely, I know I’m coming back there soon :) really recommend this place!

Beautiful location, easy to access all the great sites to see in Malindi

we stayed at Angela's cottage for 3 Nights. she was very prompt to respond to any concerns. our entire stay was a great one. Surprised that even locals do not know about this local gem of a place. My friend and I had planned to stay at Francesca‘s for 4 nights but extended our stay since we liked it so much. The apartment seems to be pretty new, everything is very clean and furnished practically but still with nice details like the carving of the wardrobe or the wonderful terrace/balcony space. We were welcomed by Derick, who was our contact on the ground, but nevertheless Francesca always stayed in touch with me to see if we were fine. The apartment was a bit hot when we arrived, but as soon as we opened the windows and doors there was a nice breeze and it was easy to keep the house ventilated. Also, a BIG plus is that the beds and all windows have mosquito nets, so even if you leave them open, no problems with bites! Also, the accommodation is conveniently located near the beach, 3 mins away from „Watamu mall“ with a supermarket and a coffee shop, and a 15 min walk or short boda-drive from the centre. Overall a great price for value, I would definitely come again!

Safety is very important to me as I have had problems at other locations; Nathan's place has 24/7 security and is very secure.

This place is an absolute gem. My girlfriend and I had to extend our stay and needed a quite place to work remotely. This was it! Very peaceful, great internet and very temperate (never got too hot). Philippe, the host, was super responsive and very accomodating to our needs. Also the kitchen was superb, for any foody looking for a well equipped kitchen, this is the place. As for the location, it is very central, a 5 minute walk to both beaches, a new cafe just opened up on the corner for those looking for fresh croissants in the morning and there is a great gym about 1 minutes walk from the apartment. Loved it... and we will be back :)

Caroline is an exceptional host and this space is extremely comfortable. The pool is clean, access to great amenities and a very nice deck. I’d love to visit again.

Abbiamo soggiornato nell’appartamento per 4 notti, pulizia impeccabile, posizione molto comoda e soprattutto vicino alla spiaggia. Un grazie speciale alla co-host Winnie che è stata disponibilissima e gentilissima, ci ha aiutato con i trasporti ed è stata presente per qualsiasi cosa avessimo bisogno. Raccomando fortemente questa struttura.

A little slice of paradise—peaceful, relaxing, and set in a beautiful garden with multiple seating areas and a great pool to cool off in. The apartment itself is well-equipped and feels like a home away from home. It’s separate from where Esther lives next door, so you have plenty of privacy, but she’s always available if you need anything. We rented a motorbike which made getting around really easy—exploring different beaches, restaurants, the supermarket, and even the gym. Esther is a fantastic host—warm, friendly, and always happy to help. Watamu has a lot to offer, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

I loved that the apartment was centrally located , easy to get by , only a few minutes to the beach and local restaurants and market. Like 3 banks within walking distance . The apartment was super clean , spacious and free from clatter , just what I needed, big open space with comfortable couches . The kitchen was well equipped, I loved that there was a toaster and a coffee machine. The bathroom had a laundry machine and hot water ! Perfect place for holidays/ work trips .

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this lovely place in Malindi, and it was spectacular. From the moment we arrived, Sila went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and enjoyable.
