We loved our stay! It was very easy to find, the location was BEAUTIFUL!!!

Have been here with my girlfriend for her birthday. We had a wonderful stay. Its a nice peaceful place.

The apartment was as described and within walking distance of several restaurants and Campus. We enjoyed our stay and the location of the apartment. We especially enjoyed the back porch/deck.

Very happy to find such a great place to stay in Beech Mountain! Everything was just what you want for a trip: clear directions, helpful area details, easy and efficient check-in and place was super clean. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Our daughter lives in Boone so we are always looking for a place as close as we can to her. For what we would normally pay a hotel, Burl’s place was so quiet, clean and full of conveniences that we wouldn’t have in a hotel. Check in was so easy and any questions we sent out were responded to immediately. We sat in the outdoor chairs and enjoyed the beautiful view. - the driveway is steep but we had no trouble. We would definitely stay again. Burl was very kind.

This bottom floor apartment was in a gorgeous, quiet neighborhood that was close to all the West Jefferson places we like to visit. It was clean and organized. I loved the little “extra thoughtful amenities” that were available if you forgot things from home. My favorite part was sitting on the porch drinking coffee relaxing while two hummingbirds hovered for a minute.

The condo was perfect for skiing at Beech Mountain. Easy drive to and from. The condo offered a cozy feel that made the snowy days just right. Perfect for our winter break!

AWESOME landing zone with tons of space for our family. The 2nd bathroom and bedroom was the cherry on top. I hate putting the teenager on an uncomfortable sofa bed so having his own room and bathroom was great. However….had we needed the sofa bed, this one is not your typical old thin pullout. It was a super comfortable sofa/futon style upgrade, so no worries if you use it. The hot water and pressure were good. The location is walkable if you’re not afraid of cardio, as there are stairs and uphill grades, but hey….you’re in the mountians. Overall, we loved it and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place! Was looking for a rental that was not up a mountain. Had to be "flat", close to App state and King street/restaurants. East King is seconds from King Street/App State. Flat parking pad. No steps into the back door. Easy to retrieve key. Spotless. My parents stayed at a nearby hotel (used their points) and we had a wonderful weekend showing them all over Boone and the area and had a wonderful time at the house to celebrate both our daughter's birthdays and Easter. Location, location location! Super convenient- we would absolutely rent here again! Owner was almost instantly responsive and very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again. The home was exactly as described. The instructions for check-in and expectations while there were easy to follow. Our fur baby enjoyed the gates for the porch and fenced in yard. The location was ideal— just far enough out of town that it’s peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed mornings on the porch. The home is a short drive from Boone. We even visited Blowing Rock and West Jefferson during our stay. Megan was responsive and made our stay smooth and enjoyable.

Fantastic and comfortable stay, This place has all you need. Private yet close to everything. Don’t sleep on this one, we’ll be back.

This house was amazing, me and my family wanted to get away from the city for the weekend and this was a great place to stay at, it was very peaceful. we definitely would book again!

We had the best stay at Adam’s place! Everything was perfect! The home is cozy and spotlessly clean. My sons loved the ping pong table! There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space to relax and also room for us to spend time together! We will definitely choose to stay there again when we are in the area. Christopher is a very responsive host, answering texts almost immediately every time. The house is well maintained, clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfy too! The kitchen is well appointed and we had everything we needed. We will be back!

We had an amazing weekend. From booking to arrival, the host was super responsive and sent all check‑in details beforehand—so easy! The home was the perfect space for our family. Our child loved the thoughtfully provided games and toys, and our pups enjoyed the tasty treats. Great details down to the little details all around. The kitchen was well stocked, and the covered back porch let us grill and relax even when the weather wasn’t the best. The quiet neighborhood offered peace and convenience, with dining and shopping just a short drive away. Thank you, for a memorable stay. We can’t wait to return—highly recommended for families.

This cabin is just as described in the listing. The hot tub was such an added bonus to a mountain getaway! Connie was so responsive and has thought of everything to clearly communicate and be proactive for any questions you may have. This cabin is right between Boone and West Jefferson so lots of options or just hanging out at the house! The only advice I would give next guests would be to pick up paper products to minimize doing too many dishes because there is no dishwasher. Overall fantastic little getaway and I would book again! Thanks Connie for always being available for any questions.

We really enjoyed our stay! This condo is very close to yummy restaurants and fun things to do. Our toddler loved sleeping in the bunk bed and it was plenty of space for the 3 of us.

Sarah's condo was beautiful. The view from the porch was stunning. This was our 2nd time staying at Sugar Top & first time at her condo. She is excellent at communication as well!

The place was amazing and comfy, my family loved the view from the apartment and we spent a great time in Grandfather Mountain! The host was very kind and really helpful. We’d love to rent this place again in the future — (10/10)

Very attentive host and even though I made the reservation at the last minute when I arrived my car was already registered at the security guardhouse and the apartment was impeccable and has a unique view of Sugar Mountain!

Jennifer and her co-hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. The condo was perfect for our family vacation. Close to ski slopes, but not within walking distance, which was fine with us. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to cook. All instructions were clear and easy to follow. The porch furniture was the best, love the gliders. And the view of Grandfather Mountain and surrounding mountains was beautiful. Great experience!!

This lower level condo was so cute and perfect for our stay at Sugar Mountain. The bed was so comfortable and the whole condo was clean and inviting. There were guidebooks and everything you need to cook and stay. My 4.5 year old loved it also. We went snow tubing twice, to the alpine coaster, to mast General in Valle Crucis, walked Bass Lake in Blowing Rock and ate at the Bayou which had a great Apple Brandy Moscow Mule and Banner Elk Cafe. We highly recommend this cute condo!

Your place was very lovely. It was very clean and I hope we left it without any issues and followed your check out instructions. Unfortunately the pool and Jacuzzi was out of service due to them doing renovations but that was ok and we understood, stuff like that has to happen from time to time.
