Alojamientos vacacionales en Water Island

Wir waren zu 3 in der Unterkunft und waren sehr zufrieden. Der Ausbkick auf die Kreuzfahrtschiffe ist einfach unglaublich. Es war auch leicht fussläufig in die Stadt zu kommen aber wir haben unseren ausblick so geluebt das wir 2mal auch nur zu Hause gegessen haben. Ein wenig abgewohnter ist es als die Fotos unbedingt preisgeben aber trotzdem haben wir uns 100% wohl gefühlt. Ein Auto ist zu empfehlen weil die Strände doch etwas entfernt liegen. Aber alles top und so wie wir uns das vorgestellt haben.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Nest West! Everything went smoothly, and the unit was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. A special thank you to Paris for his patience as we got a bit turned around on the way to check-in. (Tip for future guests: Google Maps works best for GPS—Waze led us astray.) We really appreciated the clear and consistent communication with the host throughout our stay. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with essentials (i.e. pots, pans etc..) for cooking, and the chilled bottles of water in the fridge were a much appreciated touch on our first day. The beautiful view from the unit was the cherry on top! Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and well-managed stay.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was super friendly and responsive, which made everything really easy and stress-free. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Airbnb experience!

Thus place was as described. Breath taking views. This was island living at its finest. Easy access into the property and easy access around the island. Highly recommend to rent a golf cart plus it just makes it fun to cruise around the island. We will 💯 rent again. Thank you so much.

Gigi is an amazing host! She helped us navigate Water Island and St. Thomas through her helpful recommendations. She greeted us at the Water Island Ferry dock and helped us get settled in. She was there whenever we needed anything. Gigi’s home is in a beautiful location and is well equipped with whatever you need. She has lots of beach essentials and floats for the pool. The space is attached to Gigi’s primary residence, however, we’d never know anyone was there. It was super quiet with really thick walls. Getting to/from Water Island is a breeze! It’s 10 minutes on a ferry that’s always on time. We loved seeing tortoises, hermit crabs and Gigi’s sweet ldog Coco at the house. At the beach, we loved seeing the sea turtles in the calm water! We also did a sailing trip to swim with sea turtles. The Gigi-recommended captain was AMAZING. He let our daughter drive the boat as an early birthday present. She’s been telling everyone about it! Highly recommend! Can’t thank Gigi enough!

Before arrival, Evanton answered my questions and prepared me for arrival. Once I showed up, he greeted me and welcomed me to the island and instructed me of the check in process which was simple and easy. He offered all contact info and said he was available anytime. Over the past week, I would see Evanton in passing and he was always interested in how my day went and how I’m loving the area. He even offered his connections if I chose to stay on the island and needed employment. The price was great and the views were stunning. The remote location means a car is a necessity but also that the area is peaceful and calm. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great location. Friendly and safe. Easy walk about one mile to town and several nice restaurants within a few blocks. Great view of town harbor and hills. Plenty of space. Basic kitchen needs. If you have mobility issues this is not for you. Lots of steps and no railing.

We had a wonderful time at Larik’s place in Frenchtown! We ate almost exclusively at restaurants in Frenchtown and really enjoyed the flavor of the neighborhood, which frequently included the sounds of an evening baseball game. The view of the harbor was gorgeous and the many large windows made you feel a part of it wherever you were in the apartment. Perched on the hillside, we had many close neighbors, but the angle of the property made it very private at the same time. You do hear the sounds of Charlotte Amalie around you, but that is to be expected when staying in town. We did not rent a car and that worked fine for us. Everything we needed was available within a half mile walk or so and we used the Safari Bus ($2 rides) and an occasional taxi to get to the beaches. And, the ferry to St John was a short walk away!
