great place to stay if you wanting to explore the park and a day or two at sun city.. lovely clean and super comfortable..

We had an incredible 4-day stay at Mabalingwe with the family! The place was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxed bush getaway. The double fridges and pantry were a game changer – we could bring all our food along, especially meat for the braai, and didn’t have to keep driving into town. The braai spots were perfect too – we spent every evening around the fire, just soaking in the peace and quiet. Truly a special place and one we’d love to return to!

This was the most INCREDIBLE place! I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants a slice of heaven just 3 hours out of Joburg! You are totally immersed in nature and the bush - the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, and there are braai facilities. I will definitely be back! One thing is the road from the farm gate is quite long, which is amazing because it means once you are in you feel you are totally in the bush - however, the road is not great. I have a raised SUV, which was fine, but you have to drive slowly. Definitely not suitable for a small car.

Went with our two small kids, and my extended family and we had the best time swimming in the pool and using the Jeep for game drives. The view is incredible and so peaceful. I have never stayed anywhere with such a well stocked kitchen which made our lives so much easier. Would definitely return .

We had such a wonderful weekend in this beautiful, peaceful spot! The house has all the charm of a rustic bush retreat with wonderful little luxuries like a dishwasher, jacuzzi, honesty cupboard, board games and DTSV. We were there with a group of boys who just loved spending time outdoors and made full use of all the facilities!

My cousins and I had the pleasure of staying at this charming Airbnb for a weekend getaway, and we couldn't be more satisfied with our experience. The host was incredibly welcoming, providing clear instructions for check-in and check-out The space itself was beautifully decorated, blending modern conveniences with a cozy, homey feel. It was spotlessly clean and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable, cozy and stylish place to stay.

We travelled 3 families (12-61 years) together. The farm is beautiful and interesting. Teaming with wildlife and game. If you get the chance, go for a sundown-gamedrive. The views of the farm from the hills are breathtaking. A special thanks to the people who patiently and knowledgable guided us through game-drives and hunts. We hope to return to this place!

I have been to many Airbnb's, probably close to 100 for business and pleasure. That being said, Jan is the most hospitable, kind, thoughtful host I've ever had. The place has everything you need and nothing you don't need. Come here to break away from the hustle of the city and work. Enjoy the variety of wildlife. Our little family have an awesome time . We stayed for two nights and it was lovely. From the booking to the communication everything was excellent. This family owned place is well managed , run with kindness and grace. We operated the boiler Donkie for the first time and had warm water for showering. It is clean and well taken care off. Great Wi-Fi and all cooking tools were provided. We went for morning walks with the kids and had amazing time. They have a cactus tree a beautiful and rare find. If you looking for a great Glamping experience with the family away from the big city- 2 hours away from Johannesburg. I highly recommend it. We will be coming back soon. Thank you for a great place.
