This riverside home was the perfect getaway spot—peaceful, beautifully located, and incredibly relaxing. Waking up to the sound of birds and watching the river flow from the porch was pure magic. The house was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was also very kind and responsive. The house felt like coming home. Everything you need was provided. The location is beautiful as is the surrounding area. We needed proximity to family and this was a perfect spot. All the amenities in the home were available and perfect for a weeklong stay. Thank you for a great stay!

My 2 colleagues and I stayed here during a conference at U Conn and it was absolutely perfect. The house is steps from the lake with beautiful views. Great porch, 2 fire pits (one is part of the porch table itself!), and fun water bikes. Great swimming and relaxing all around. The house itself is comfortable and super clean. Last but not least , the host Jena was truly above and beyond helpful, responsive, and accommodating. We had an awesome time - it felt like a true retreat :)

My family and I of 5 stayed at Peter’s place from the April 14th-17th. The place was very easy to find, plenty of parking space, easy instructions to get in. Upon entering everything was very clean and organized, the rooms were the perfect size for all of us to stay in. Plenty of towels for all of us. The backyard is nice although we didn’t use it because it was chilly while we were there, but it was very clean! Mystic is about 30 ish minutes away from the place. There is a near by small beach as well for the summer days. At night everything is very quiet, and peaceful, the beds were comfortable. The charging pods on the night stand were great as well. The air conditioning in every room were great, the washer and dryer in the main bedroom was very useful, and they provide the detergent pods as well which is great. Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay here. We didn’t have to contact Peter about any concerns, because we felt right at home.

This is the second time I have stayed here, it's really a great place. We'll be back

I have stayed at lots of places in the last few years . . . and this place ranks right at the top. It is beyond beautiful. The water views from the living room and both bedrooms made it hard to leave and come home. It's actually even more amazing than the pictures. Don't think twice! Book this place now!

Mariza's house was not only beautiful on the inside, but on the outside aswell. We felt very welcome from the moment we stepped foot into her home. We had lots of room for everyone, which was nice. I would highly recommend it!

This was our 2nd stay at Andrea’s place. Very peaceful and convenient location for our visits to Connecticut. We come to visit family but the small river towns like Deep River offer much to do and excellent restaurants to boot. We highly recommend Andreas property!

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

This was a great place to stay. Jeri was a wonderful host - responsive, kind, warm, and friendly. The place was beautiful, and all the amenities made the stay very pleasant. Fresh eggs and cream in the fridge, along with chickens right outside really set this place apart. Wonderful place, wonderful stay, amazing host.

My friend and I stayed at Clare’s Airbnb in Montauk over the weekend, and she was one the nicest and most attentive hosts we have stayed with. Our room was really nice and contained everything we needed to have a very comfortable time. We really appreciated Clare for her very friendly hospitality and for going above and beyond for us whenever we needed her for something. And she was so lovely to our dog, Chi Chi ☺️ We will def stay at her place again if we make another visit to Montauk! 🐶🐾💕

best part about this Airbnb is the kitchen which is very spacious with a good amount of cooking utensils!

We had a wonderful stay at The Holly. The location was absolutely perfect—peaceful, serene, and exactly what we were looking for. The home itself was lovely and welcoming, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Jasmine was an excellent host—very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. The place was perfect for us as a weekend getaway: at such peaceful and secluded location, you can really unplug and feel the warmth of the sun and wind from the ocean. Elizabeth was a super responsible and supportive host. Make sure to book if you are looking for a nice vacation at the beach!

Our stay could not have been better. Was the perfect place to stay to run the Newport marathon and we really enjoyed the cozy feel of the place. Everything was so clean and the yard was a great bonus in nice spring weather. Could not have asked for a better or more thoughtful host!

If you are looking for simplicity (which we were) this is the perfect place to. I’ve always wanted to stay at a lake house. We couldn’t have asked for more. Serene, tranquil, beautiful are the proper descriptions of the house and the area. We came to Connecticut to visit my daughter and family and they ended up coming to our place instead. Jason was extremely helpful when needed. We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful stay in Chester. Looks exactly like photos, very well decorated and cute outdoor patio space. Appreciated it was well appointed and had extra of everything (linens, toiletries, etc). Beds were comfy. Close drive to town.

We had a great stay at Greg's place. Potter pond is gorgeous and a kayaking paradise, and the walk to the beach was amazing. Being so close to great restaurants was also amazing. This is a gem of a location for a beach vacation. One note- I had thought we'd be able to launch our kayak at the water right behind the unit, but you need to walk them a little bit over to the kayak launch. Not a big deal, but make sure you bring a kayak cart if you think you'll need one.
