Such a lovely place and prefect for families! House and garden was ideal for us. It felt really homely and had loads for the kids to do. Children loved the table tennis, boat in the garden, train set and most of all the tortoise! Well equipped house in a fantastic location and Mandy was a great host! Wish we could have stayed longer!

A lovely cozy beautiful home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Very convenient to travel to London. The Neighbourhood is nice with lots of restaurants and open spaces. Hampton court, river Thames all are few meters around. Ziggy, the house cat is almost an ideal cat. Kids loved having him around. Totally recommend this place. Thanks Alex and family

Perfect for what we needed! An escape from the city. Peaceful surroundings and lots to do at the house (sauna, zip wire, badminton nets, football goals, etc)

Laura's home is absolutely beautiful, and located right on a private shingle beach (Norman's Bay) that's dog-friendly. The kitchen is well-equipt, the BBQ easy to fire up and the bedrooms comfortable and beautifully furnished. The location is a little out of the way if you don't have a car, so be prepared to drive to Bexhill, Hastings or Eastbourne to make the most of your time. I'd also suggest coming with supplies to cover you for the duration, as popping out for anything will take a little while. But overall, great AirBnB that's perfect for both groups of friends and families.

What a great find! We were a family group of 9 including 2 young children, the house was definitely big enough to accommodate us all with spacious rooms, a stunning kitchen area, comfortable beds and spotlessly clean bathrooms/en suite. The kids enjoyed all the games on offer, especially the ping pong table. Tony was a real hit too. Susie is a great host, offering great local advice/recommendations and was so kind to allow us an early check-in. We had 3 cars with our party but only permits for 2 cars however Susie's lovely neighbour happened to be around when we were deciding what to do with the 3rd car and offered us some of her additional permits for a small amount of money, this allowed us to all be parked outside the property with no concern about moving the cars, it really was a bonus. I would recommend this lovely house to any large group, close to beach and shops and Brighton town centre.

Accommodation was at the highest level. All equipment was to a high standard. Good to have Netflix etc already enabled. Would come back again. Mike & Paulette

We had a wonderful Easter weekend at Jo’s cottage celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday. Jo sent us some really helpful videos with instructions about parking, how to use the hot tub etc. Communication was great. The hot tub was fab and the kids play room was something else! Our 6 & 2 year old were delighted and didn’t want to leave! We spent a day at Camber Sands (we lucked out weather wise) and had so much fun visiting the amusements in Hastings. The kids loved the rides and arcades there. A few practical points: 1. There’s a big Aldi a 2 minute drive down the road to stock up on shopping. 2. Parking at Camber Sands is expensive (£12) so be prepared for that. 3. Deliveroo is available from the cottage if you don’t fancy cooking. We had a brilliant stay and would definitely recommend this place - we all slept like babies and have come home feeling refreshed & made some lovely memories together. Thank you J

Romy's place is the perfect getaway for anyone who likes walking, beaches, country pubs or a bit of peace and quiet in a beautiful setting. The place had everything we needed and a private secure garden, which was great for our dog. Romy was really kind, friendly and helpful with local tips.

We had a great stay at the house, it’s an amazing location (very central but also very peaceful)! The beds were super comfortable and cosy and the house has so much character, it’s like stepping back in time. Susie was very responsive and helpful at all stages and really made us feel welcome. The fire is amazing on a cold day and the garden is a lovely sun trap on a warm day!

A great place to come and stay easy to find really good.Carol was a amazing host very welcoming from start to finish and very helpful though out are stay. Very comfy beds loads of choices for breakfast. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Mary was really helpful and welcoming on arrival and the cottage was pristine inside and out and in a wonderful country setting. The instruction booklet was clear and covered everything I needed. I’d definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place to stay, extremely well kitted out and felt right at home. The surroundings are very peaceful and we enjoyed a lovely walk across fields to the local pub. Would highly recommend, Gary and Shona are great hosts and have clearly thought of everything - communication was always really quick too. We hope to return again in the future.

We enjoyed a lovely few nights stay in Surrey. The room was lovely and clean, with enough amenities for our short stay. It was lovely meeting Alex’s friendly cats too! The area is absolutely beautiful, we had no issue getting to the airbnb after a day in Thorpe Park, and easily managed a few walks from the island, and a day trip into London. The local pubs were great too. We particularly liked The Minnow! One thing to note, as mentioned in other reviews, the wifi is really bad. Only one evening out of three were we able to access social media. Thankfully this wasn’t a huge issue for us, as we were getting back late and very tired, but worth noting if you need internet access. Otherwise, we had a fantastically peaceful escape and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook!
